Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Arlo James

See what it's like to be a vulture's lunch

That shrug he was fitted with at the inquiry as to what on earth Sebastian did with his time if not watch TV merely saw one eye lift upward in a momentary intrigue, Arlo entirely intrigued as to what else there was to do with that never-ending immortality other than lie on the sofa and bemoan it. Sebastian's answer so entirely straightforward that it saw Arlo snort ever so slightly. Sex. As if it was that simple and freely available. As if he should have thought of it first. Ha! Then again maybe he wasn't really all that surprised. After all, those women were drawn to his newfound friend like moths to a flame. Getting laid hardly seemed like it was an issue for Sebastian at all. Arlo rolling his eyes at the ease with which the other vampire uttered it all the same. Some guys had all the luck. The younger vampire allowed his gaze to drift briefly to Sebastian's hand once more and that ring resting on that ring finger of his left hand. That curiosity tugging softly at him. It was hardly an engagement ring and surely not a wedding ring yet it was a something ring. Arlo was sure of that. This guy had someone. Someone who must have been pretty good at sex too if they'd managed to lure Sebastian- at least by Arlo's thinking. His thoughts on who Sebastian had waiting at home were all but derailed by that question posed to himself. So what if he watched a lot of tv? Did that matter? Was he being judged here? Although it did sound lame. God he'd been cool once. What the hell had happened? Arlo struggling to offer something even remotely better sounding then watching Friends repeats or late night talk shows by way off his nightly activities.

"Well- not all day."

He managed to mutter at last, the man reaching into his back pocket a moment, fumbling for his phone before flicking it on, his finger swiping across the screen before he flicked quickly through those folders, selecting those pictured before bringing up those ones dedicated entirely to his Panda. Arlo offering the phone to Sebastian now with a ready grin.

"I have a pet. I thought she was a cat for a long time, turns out she's some sort of Panda. Either way, she show's up outside my window a lot and we hang out. She's about the closest thing I've come to making a friend, she's pretty cute- and stop with that judgey looking face. I know that's a lot of photos of a Panda. You just let me lick your neck in an alleyway, bud- you ain't winning any awards for how you spend your nights either."

That soft sound of amusement rose within his throat, the words nothing but playful and hardly offered with any harshness, Arlo entirely aware of what Sebastian must think of him spending his night's with a Panda and yet- Arlo was rather fond of her all the same. The vampire having come to feel almost...possessive about his Little Bear. Hardly a rare trait for a vampire, their ability to become territorial over the things or people they thought were theirs was pretty legendary and yet Little Bear was the first thing Arlo had ever truly felt that about at all. He fell readily back into step beside his companion again, the pair making their way towards those few places Arlo knew would be going off tonight for one reason or another. The younger vampire leading the way up to one of that establishment taken over by a college party, the girl at the door willing enough to let the 'band' in with a little persuasion. God, he could hardly remember the last time he'd been involved with anything college related, the leggy brunette whom passed by them stealing a grin from the man all the same as she moved to speak with her friend, before of them giggling softly at something before Arlo moved to lead the way to that bar- sliding onto that stool with ease before turning to survey the room before them. Sebastian's mention of his own ability to drink seeing those bright blue eyes meet the elder vampires own with delight. Ha, who would have thought. Seb hardly looked like a drinking man. Arlo having decided he liked him even more. That good-natured tease tainting his words again.

"I guarantee you, your fancy dinner with courses and wine ain't got nothing on rock concerts, after-parties and backstage piss-ups but I'll let you think that. Were you rich as a child? I've never even seen a dinner with courses."

That request for whiskey was met with a momentary frown, Arlo attempting to spy any off it behind the counter, waving that bar tender over a moment later, the vampire entirely surprised to find they did have it. Arlo passing that glass to Seb then before taking a sip off his own and turning his attention back to that crowd at large to see if any of those girls did take his fancy. Sebastian's assurance at least a few had noticed them in turn wholly positive he was sure. His gaze drifted across the room, brushing over those groups of women, Arlo feeling particularly predatory in that moment even despite the fact none of them really smelled overly appealing to him. It was fortunate, he supposed, that it was an entirely different need he strove to have met tonight. That wonderful scent of Sebastian beside him proving to be more distracting then he'd anticipated. God, he couldn't be hungry again could he? He just ate! He exhaled roughly, forcing that scent of Sebastian away to focus on the girls, the brunette woman from before strolling into that room a moment later, her gaze resting distinctly on the pair of men seated at the bar before she seated herself on the other side of the room and nearby another friend, her gaze at last drawn away from them to focus on her female companion.

"How about her? She's got legs that go a mile, she's cute too."

He gestured subtly to the woman now, throwing back the rest of that whisky in almost one go, one eye lifting at Sebastian's still half full glass before that grin touched his lips again- that vibrant blue of his gaze flicking to the woman and back once more. A look of contemplation touching his features as one hand lifted to run almost nervously through the black of his hair now. Alright, so maybe he wasn't that great with girls. He'd never had to be before. He'd been so stoned he'd hardly had to impress them beyond his music. This was an entirely new game and one he hardly knew how to play. His words holding a notable hesitation to them now as he looked to Sebastian. That almost palpable confidence he'd had before seeming to falter.

"So now what, I mean, am I supposed to talk to her? What do I say?"
