Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Arlo James

See what it's like to be a vulture's lunch

The assurance of the other vampire that he had forgotten Arlo's age was met with an easy shrug off his shoulders. Arlo hardly offended by it in any sense, if anything, the fact Sebastian had forgotten he was so young, by vampire standards, was almost a compliment. At least he was no longer giving off that air of being completely out of control, although given the beginning of the night maybe he was counting those eggs before they'd hatched. Arlo scowling slightly at that memory of very near breaking his jaw on Sebastian's fist as he tried to bite through those strange red strings or whatever they had been. Maybe that was a memory better left for the past. It had worked out all right in the end after all. This night was going significantly better than most of his evenings ever did, a night that promised to potentially get even better if Sebastian was truly as good as he seemed inclined to let Arlo believe. His blue eyes drifted away from his newfound companion then and to the crowd at large, Arlo feeling every inch the predator in that moment even if it was hardly their blood he was after tonight, the man making every effort to remove that idea from his mind. He wasn't going to hurt anyone after all, that made it ok, right? His head nodded at last towards that girl from the beginning of the night, the one still eyeing the pair of them even now as she stood beside her blonde friend.

Whatever he'd been expecting, however, was hardly for Sebastian to throw back that drink and stand so suddenly with every intention of simply waltzing up to the woman. That sort of confidence was, well, a thing of myths as far as Arlo was concerned. Either whatever power he had was foolproof or Sebastian was simply the sort of man not used to being rejected in any sense, that disbelief upon his own features surely clear. God, he'd never tried to do this sober before, he'd never actually had to really talk to girls, usually his guitar playing was enough- they all but fell on him then behind the backstage curtain or in the wings. It didn't matter when or where or how and yet without that haze of alcohol or whatever else he'd once so frequently lost himself in this was far harder then he recalled. Hell, he'd barely had time to formulate a sentence and Sebastian was already moving, that frantic whisper of what on earth he was supposed to say to her all but brushed off with those easy words and a half-hearted shrug. Arlo unable to help that slight roll off his eyes before muttering his assurance he was going to get himself slapped only to feel Sebastian's hand clap against his shoulder and the promise that he had his back. Cocky bastard. A likeable one though. Arlo inclined to the man's company simply because, well, he was a decent enough guy even despite what they were attempting here and now. Arlo almost entirely assured they were going to fail all the same.

His eyes widened all the more as the older vampire simply strode up to the blonde woman, looping an arm around her waist as if it belonged there, the girl hardly seeming to mind. In fact, it was almost as if she almost welcomed the embrace, leaning into to Sebastian as if she'd know him for weeks rather than seconds. That subtle gesture for him to do, well, something, was met with a momentary panic of sorts, Arlo attempting some level of confidence as he stepped towards the tall brunette woman. The vampire mumbled the first thing that came to his mind in that moment, that raise of Sebastian's eyes hardly missed. Arlo almost inclined to snort. Well, he hadn't exactly been given time to come up with anything had he!? What he'd said however, hardly seemed to matter in the slightest, the woman's hand reaching up a moment later to trail her fingers along his skin, bemoaning that lack of actual men. Arlo mouthing that simple word of astonishment towards Sebastian then. He really was good at this. He didn't even look like he was trying. Sebastian's sudden request to find somewhere more private saw that surprise touch his features again, hell, he'd anticipated it but this seemed almost too....easy. That brush of the young woman's fingers against his skin readily derailed all thoughts off how fast they were moving all the same. Arlo more than willing to be dragged along behind that girl to any place she wanted as they followed Sebastian and the blonde around the corner and up those stairs. Arlo was tugged into that bedroom, the door shut behind him as Sebastian's companion announced they shared a room. Well- this was....unanticipated. Did it bother him?

"Ummmm, well....I..."

His words were all but cut off by Sebastian's assurance it was fine. Arlo shooting him a look. There wasn't much he'd say no to really, but.....sex with another dude in the room? Another dude who was probably some kind of sex god? He wasn't exactly lacking confidence when it came to this sort of performing (aside from some fear he might render the girl unconscious too soon) but he'd sure as hell never had to do it with someone else in the room. What if Sebastian....looked? Were there rules to this? That flurry of concerns was forced momentarily aside as Sophie tugged him towards her bed, the girl all but pushing him down onto that mattress before straddling him- her lips pressing hungrily to his own. Well- someone wasn't wasting any time. His own desire to have those physical needs met flared readily in that moment. Sebastian and the other girl all but forgotten as he returned that kiss eagerly, his hands slipping beneath her shirt to rest on her waist as her hands found his hair- raking through those near-black locks.

It was almost too easy to forget just where he was in those all-too glorious moments, his figure responding eagerly to her own hungry kisses as she all but grinded against him. His hands slid easily upward then, catching the fabric of her shirt to pull it up and over her head, tossing it to the floor before reaching for that bra clasp as her lips worked their way down his neck- his breathing readily losing all steadiness. God it had been so long, that want tugging almost furiously at him. Sophie wasted almost no time in loosening his jeans enough to work her hands beneath that waistband- that single touch eliciting a pleasureable sound from his throat then and yet that desire was hardly the only thing that young woman managed to coax from him. He could feel that....hunger....of a sort clawing at him and yet he hardly desired her blood, it failed to call to him the way Sebastian's did and yet that desire to bite was hardly lessened. It was, he suspected, everything to do with his age....or lack of it...any lapse of control on his part readily seeing that predator rear in every sense of the word. He wanted to bite something anything, his eyes near black with that sudden urge as his lips pulled back from his fangs, those pointed tips gracing the flesh off her bare shoulder. Some subtle movement from the other side of the room saw his gaze dart briefly upward. The sight of Sebastian seeming to see him pause abruptly. That realisation of just where he was slowly dawning on him. He was supposed to wait. Right to the end. This was so not easy.

"Babe, you gotta slow it down just a bit."

He was going to bite her if she didn't. Sophie seeming to, marginally, ease those touches, pausing only to rid him off his shirt. The groan that fell from his lips then had little to do with Sophie's hands and far more with the effort of denying himself, every bit of control he possessed placed into letting his lips brush her skin rather than his fangs and yet...that return of his sense brought with it an awareness of Sebastian's presence all over again. Arlo rather evidently distracted by the other man now as he considered switching his own position to at least have his back to the other couple and yet....god....Sebastian might see his...well....butt. Arlo glancing briefly around Sophie to offer his best 'don't you dare look' look at Sebastian as he could. Sophie pausing briefly to ask him if he was alright. Great. Now she was noticing he was distracted. At least he wasn't thinking about biting her anymore.....
