Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellington

Crowned Consort of Italy

The Englishman adored those simple touches of affection the fae King was entirely willing to adorn his dead frame with. That life that so seemed to flow from this brushes of Dorian's lips hardly went ignored by the vampire, his skin felt warmer to the touch, those kisses somehow more ticklish than they were before. Sebastian was wholly content to remain within the embrace of his lover, his warm, mortal flesh content to snuggle closer towards the Monarch as the man moved to the other side of his neck. That soft sound of satisfaction left his lips as he leaned his head against Dorian's opposite shoulder. God, how glorious this felt! How utterly wonderful that touch of life was! He could hardly help that sound of regret from his mouth as Dorian suddenly moved around him, stealing one final and far too fluttering kiss from his lips. That announcement that he was surely ready to venture from beyond those dark walls was met with ready agreement. Sebastian had prepared for so long for today. He was ready to share the fruition of all of his work with the fae Monarch he so adored.

That sheepish look that crossed the Monarch's features at the admittance that Dorian had inquired of the day's festivities from his own staff had prompted a sort of grin from his features. If there was any one thing he could count on, it was that neverending inquisitiveness that often beset the King at any hint of mystery. "I'm glad to hear that, I will have to give them all my thanks." The vampire offered in a wholly teasing fashion. Even so, he allowed himself to be led down the hallway and towards the front door, Dorian's eagerness to see the answer to that veritable life that surrounded the walls of that estate quite clear before Sebastian pulled him quite suddenly to a halt before those thick mahogany doors. His hands briefly rested upon Dorian's shoulders as he led his lover to stand just before those doors, one hand shifted to the handle as he inquired if Dorian was absolutely certain he was ready to see what existed just beyond that door. A ready grin crossed his features at those playful words that left the King's lips. He hardly hesitated before he provided that festival with the proper announcement it surely deserved, his hand turning upon that knob to push open the door that sunlight so brightly streaming into that door frame.

Sebastian himself was forced to blink several times against that sunlight, his eyes still far too use to the darkness to be met with such sudden brightness. His own gaze was far slower to adjust then Dorian's own. That soft gasp that left the man's lips brought a grin to the vampire's own and yet, he was hardly prepared for the way in which the fae King stepped backwards and into him. His own footing was hardly as certain as his undead body often was, the man forced to step back himself to catch his balance for them both. He could hardly help that amusement that seemed to strike his features at the awe that so seemed to strike his lover, the vampire equally able to merely ignore those crowd's that turned towards them at the opening of that door. After all, the house itself was so often off-limits for that festivity, seeing any come and go was certain unexpected, much less that simple fact that here, they were easily recognizable. It was a fact he'd slowly become accustomed to ever since Christmas. His bright crystalline blue eyes met those warm silver ones of his lover's as he inquired if the Monarch might be inclined to explore those grounds with him.

That near beaming grin upon Dorian's features alone was near infectious. He loved being capable of producing such joy within the man, those gardens quite clearly capable of taking the fae King's breath away and yet, if all of this could astound the man, he felt all the more confident of his plans for the evening. That soft chuckle left his own lips as Dorian seemed to struggle with those words to express that wonderment and yet, Dorian's hand fit ever so neatly within his own. He fell in step all too easily beside the Monarch as the man moved from that front door to wander down those pathways between those meticulously created gardens, each one wholly unique. He watched as his lover reached out to touch those hedges before pausing at the last moment, his own gaze fluttered towards that volunteer positioned nearby, that reassurance that touching was perfectly acceptable only managed to prompt a small simper upon the vampire's features. After all, he knew well the limited number of gardens that were roped off. An entirely one had been so perfectly created for tonight, locked away from the view of the public for his use alone. That idle inquiry drew his attention back to the Monarch as the vampire shook his head ever so slightly. "No, they're shipped from various places around the world. They were all transplanted earlier this month and the gardeners have been here keeping an eye on them to make sure they're doing well and growing properly. Next week they'll all be gone and back where they came from." Next week, Tatton would return to it's usual state as if this had never existed at all.

He watched his lover interact with that nature that so surrounded them, from the goldfish in that hastily installed pond to the display of flowers in such bright colored that had been placed to create intricate shapes. The vampire was hardly ignorant to the way those plants seemed to react from such a simple touch of the King. It was as if those very plants could near feel that life that so radiated from the Italian. This was quite the place Dorian seemed to belong - in the warmth of that sunlight surrounded by that life he was capable of manipulating. This was everything Sebastian himself stole from the Monarch by sheer existence alone. It was undoubtedly selfish of himself to continue doing so and yet, the man still tried his best to give the King what he could of this world as much as that night one he belonged to. That sudden declaration of his name drew his thoughts from those inner considerations that were so capable of pulling him down and yet, there was something sweet of the sight of those deer. His own hand tenderly reached out to press flat against that carefully shaped wood as that small grin crossed his features. "These won't leave next week....these belong to Tatton. You'd almost think my house animal was a deer at this rate." He commented with a hint of amusement at his own family. For that lion so belonging to them, they certainly seemed more keen on showing off those deer - it had been that way for as long as he could remember. That sudden kiss upon his cheek drew his attention from those deer to the man at his side, that smile settled upon his features at those words of thanks. "Anything for you, Ma Biche." He uttered softly before his gaze turned towards those grounds that surrounded them, "Let's see....there's...fresh fruits and vegetables over there....the vineyards over there...or we can go see all the animals made out of flowers over there." The vampire offered, altogether aware that he was hardly helping the King's indecision in the slightest.
