Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian pulled that pressed powdered blue shirt onto his bare shoulders, closing the distance between himself and the fae Monarch in the process. His fingers dexterously fiddled with the black buttons on that cotton material, entirely oblivious, in that moment, of the way Dorian's gaze lingered upon him. It was the sound of those accented words that drew his bright blue eyes towards his fiance. That compliment, although surely tame, prompted a warm simper to his features. "I am quite fond of it," Sebastian admitted as he finished that last button, purposefully leaving those top two undone in the fashion he so often did. His attention shifted to those buttons at his wrists and yet, Sebastian hardly got far at all before that soft sensation of Dorian's lips against his cheek saw the vampire pause. Although affection was hardly rare between the two, such a small sweet gesture caught the Englishman off guard. He could hardly help that almost quizzical look upon his features as he watched Dorian cross the room towards the door, even if he didn't question after his lover's decidedly good mood this evening. Rather, his own gaze lingered upon the man in that Italian jacket, his own thought briefly considering that very article of clothing on their bedroom floor by the end of the night. How the fae King still allured him after all this time, and even after that steamy bath.

Even so, Sebastian could hardly help the roll of his eyes at those almost impish words upon the King's lips. "What a wonderful fiance you are." He commented in a teasingly sarcastic fashion at the very mention of those titles. Though his gaze turned back towards the mirror, his eyes were still focused on that reflection of his lover as Dorian turned to leave the room. It was only once in the silence that existed within Dorian's wake that the vampire saw to the rest of his own appearance. That cologne that had so come to personify the Englishman was dabbed with care upon that pale flesh before he slipped on those dress pants and that accompanying jacket. It was surely silly, that anxiousness that so fluttered within his chest in the absence of his fiance. It was, he was certain, the simple knowledge of another of his kind within his home that aroused those territorial tendencies. He tried to remind himself that he trusted Arlo, at least enough to leave that wholly intoxicating man he intended to marry alone with his friend for a few moments. After all, Arlo didn't take an interest in those not of the same species. Even with that logical reassurance, however, that restlessness still pressed upon him all the same.

With one final glance in the mirror and a small nod of approval, the Englishman turned to leave the comfort of that bedroom behind him. He could hear that accented tone of the fae King' voice downstairs, drawing the vampire to him with each syllable. He moved with ease down those stairs, his gaze focused solely on his lover as Dorian reached for that young woman's hand, that age-old gesture so utterly becoming of the King. His attention drifted as he joined that small group towards the woman beside his companion, that red dress certainly flattering to her petite frame and yet...this was hardly the sort of company he had come to expect of Arlo. His eyebrow rose in a sort of questioning fashion as he glanced towards the fellow vampire, as if inquiring if this was the panda he'd heard so much about. Though Sebastian had suspected she was hardly just an animal, this was a surprisingly good find, frankly.

A curious glimpse was given to his vampiric friend at Dorian's softly uttered words and yet, Sebastian hardly questioned after it. After all, Arlo's disheveled appearance was hardly peculiar in any fashion, though the vampire certainly didn't seem as at ease as he so often was. Even so, he stepped in to offer Arlo a single hand, even if such a gesture was rather....formal considering all that their friendship had already consisted of. After all, was there really any need for a handshake when he'd spent nights sprawled on Arlo's sofa high out of his mind blabbering about God only knew what? Still, this was a dinner party and they have all dressed the part. "I think that's the nicest thing I've ever seen you wear." He commented almost immediately with an almost teasing grin on his features. Well, he couldn't be too proper for the poor man now could he? His own gaze, however, slid easily back towards Abs, as Arlo had called her. "And you must be Abigail, he speaks fondly of you," Sebastian informed her, his own hand offered to her only to afford the woman's hand that same genteel kiss from his own age. At the very least, they certainly knew how to charm.
