Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He could so hardly help that softening grin he afforded his lover in those all-too precious moments that followed his waking and the vampires near curious concern over whether or not Matteo truly was excited for that upcoming union. He knew, decidedly saw, that Sebastian fretted near eternally over whether or not the Frenchman truly approved off him. Matteo, in turn, seeming to delight in constantly leaving the vampire on those metaphorical tenterhooks as was the very nature of the Fae. Still, for all Sebastian's own worry and indeed Matteo's teasing, Dorian was near assured that, despite it all, his Father truly did approve of the man he was to marry this very day. Were Matteo to take any true vehemence in Sebastian's existence and their upcoming nuptials he suspected the French Fae would have made such things unquestionably clear. As it was, the man had done little more than display his support in one fashion or another. Dorian so inclined to consider that framed photograph of them both the elder Fae had kept within his home. That alone so readily assuring the Monarch off his Father's acceptance. Alexander, however, was another matter entirely and yet Dorian so hardly dared mention his Godfather's disdain for vampires in general least it worry Sebastian sufficiently. The Fae King determined that today, of all days, would be perfect. His words easily reassuring then as that smile remained easily upon his lips.

"I truly believe so. The servants talk, as I am sure you well know and they assure me he is nothing but pleased even if he enjoys teasing you, love."

Servants, Dorian was sure, were the gossip mill of any stately home or palace. The Monarch inclined to chuckle slightly at the thought of it. How very amusing it was to so consider all the money and time and effort to put into espionage and political power play and all other manners of attempting to deduce information when really one only ever need ask the maid of the butler or the cleaner- those beings so normally unnoticed and yet whom were privy to everything. It was that very suggestion that they surely need rise before Charles, Giles and Matteo arrive that prompted a soft sigh of sorts from the King. He knew well those traditions, indeed, he was wholly determined to honour them and yet how displeasing that thought of a 'morning' away from his lover surely was when he desired the company of no one else near so much. That nervous excitement fluttering within his chest all the same as his fingers reached out to trace down his consorts chest and over those hard plains he new so intimately, so off by heart and yet still adored as much as he surely at the first time. His hand hardly dared to draw any lower, at least not today, not now, his fingers resting almost teasingly upon his lovers hip with that soft assurance he truly should find a pair of pants lest Matteo decide to afford him some measure of critique that he so hardly put it past his Father to offer. That promise of tonight however so had a habit of returning that warm simper to his lips. That very consummation one that Dorian fully intended to see to.

"I assure you Matteo could be worse if given the chance."

He offered warmly once more, his voice near playful as he rolled from those sheets at last to make his way towards that wardrobe with Sebastian in tow, Dorian choosing those simple, comfortable clothes for now. After all, he was only to be removed of them again shortly all the same. His bare feet padded softly across the floor, the Monarch so intending to reach that mirror and attempt to tame his hair into something presentable before the very sight of that window seemed to see him pause. Sebastian's name uttered upon his lips as he so summoned his fiance to his side once more to view that sight spread out before them. The streets so thickly lined with people it was nearly a sea. Those flags and banners waving excitedly in the night air and along that light lined path to the basilica itself. He had hardly anticipated so many people so soon! His silver gaze wide at the sheer sight of it as his fingers wove with Sebastian's own. Such a crowd was...immense even for himself and yet for the vampire it was, perhaps, all the more intimidating. Dorian's own words softly uttered then, the Monarch perhaps seeking some assurance that his fiance was remained unconcerned by that throng. That simple and yet firm utterance that he was fine only furthering that simper upon his own lips. Sebastian, it seemed, inclined to take that crowd within his stride. That simple love he had for the man only seeming to, somehow, further in that moment.

Any further sentiments, it seemed, were quite destined to wait. The appearance of Matteo, Charles and Giles readily seeing the Monarch turn, his hand detangling from Sebastian's own in the wake of that greeting and Matteo's impromptu mention of their having waited until marriage to fully express those intimacies. Heavens! Surely Matteo did not truly think he had never had Sebastian within his bed in that intimate sense? That sudden eruption of laughter from the man at his paled face readily seeing that near dubious look find his features, his eyes rolling lightly as he moved to follow the man out, that singular, final grin offered to Sebastian now as he near chased after the frenchman.

That room that had so been set aside for his own preparations was an entire floor below Sebastian's own to so prevent the pair capturing even a glimpse of one another. Dorian easily following after his Father then, a multitude of servants and other staff eagerly wishing him well as he passed. Matteo so finally ushering him into that room, his gaze falling readily upon Alexander seated in that far chair. His godfather as immaculately dressed as Matteo himself and yet, Alexander so always had a habit off appearing decidedly well-groomed. Dorian affording the Hunter that warm greeting before Matteo spoke once more Why don't you see to your bath? Alex and I will sort of this outfit of yours. His gaze continued to linger upon Matteo in a somewhat reluctant hesitation to let the Fae man anywhere near his outfit and yet, Alexander, he suspected, might hold a far greater understanding of those articles. Dorian so leaving the men then to attend to that very bath.

It was only once he had deemed himself sufficiently clean that the Monarch returned to the pair. Dorian readily allowing them to assist him in putting on that perfectly tailored suit. That near silvered grey material, the traditional wedding colour off his country, was a near perfect match for his own eyes. That pressed, crisp white shirt clung easily to his form as Matteo assisted him in buttoning those cufflinks while Alexander saw to that patterned white, grey and darker grey tie. That silver grey vest with its neat grey buttons was fitted effortlessly to his figure before that grey dress jacket was offered to him. Dorian sliding first one arm and then the other into place. Even he was willing to admit that he rather liked that cut it afforded his slim, toned figure. Alexander, he was sure, had almost smiled. The Hunter proceeding to help him fit that royal cape over his left shoulder as Matteo helped him fasten that dress sword to his right side, that golden hilt polished to a gleaming shine. Dorian himself reached for that royal ring so engraved with the royal sigel, slipping it into place on his right hand before that finishing touch was finally afforded. That golden crown nestled neatly atop his brunette locks.

"Sebastian's sword and royal ring and crown are all waiting for him at the church, are they not?"

It was foolish, surely and yet, the Monarch so found himself needing to inquire about those pieces he had organised to be crafted specifically for his soon-be-husband. Matteo's head nodding. "Yes, everything is just as it should be. You look- very Kingly." It was, perhaps, the closest to a true compliment the Frenchman had ever afforded him. Dorian grinning easily once more, that nervous anticipation readily stirring within him as Alexander saw fit to usher them out and into the hall with the assurance they would be late. Sebastian having left a half hour or so ahead of them to assure he arrived at that church first. The wedding planner meeting them in the hall with that utterance that Sebastian had indeed arrived. Dorian so readily followed his Father and Godfather towards those front doors then, that crowd seeming have near tripled since he had stood at his bedroom window some hours ago. Dorian near blinded by that onslaught of photography and the sheer sound of that sheering as as he headed toward that shining black car. The Monarch pausing to afford that crowd several waves all the same. How welcomed that quiet of that car was! The vehicle slowly pulling into the driveway, that drive sure to be decidedly slow with the amount of people to navigate. "Are you nervous?"

His gaze glanced in surprise toward his Father so seated beside him then, Dorian so hardly having anticipated such a query from the Frenchman and yet he was hardly ungrateful for it all the same. Indeed, that conversation wa near welcomed in the wake of the anticipation that seemed to have his stomach awash with butterflies all at once. That simper upon his lips still as his head simply shook.

"I am not nervous to marry Sebastian, no. In fact, I have never been more sure of anything in all my life. I am nervous, perhaps, to have the very world watching us. One would think I would become used to all this, these people, the photographs, the television cameras and yet there are even more people than I anticipated."

That grin seemed to find Matteo once more as the man regarded him, the Frenchmans shoulders lifting in a shrug of sorts, the man pausing to offer a wave then before proceeding to reach over and shove Alexander's arm into doing the same (much to Alexander's likely horror).

"Your people adore you, I don't know why you would be surprised at such numbers. There will be even more when you come out of the church, more than a million. They love you- they will love Sebastian too."
"Do you?"
"Do I what?"
"Do you truly care for Sebastian too? You do not just pretend to like him for my benefit? It is just....you tease him so. I think, sometimes, he thinks you dislike him."
"Good. If he fears me he will never do any wrong by you."
"Matteo...."
"I like him, Dorian. Yes. I like him a great deal. I...."
"What is it?"
"No one in this world will ever love you as much as I do. It is simply not possible and yet the only one in this world whom might ever come close to that love is that man you are marrying. I see it in him, in everything he does, I see it when he looks at you and you at him. I see it in your future beyond what even my powers let me see. So yes, son, I like him"

He had so hardly anticipated such a response. Matteo looking away and out that window as Dorian near blinked. The Monarch glancing towards Alexander as the elder Hunter merely muttered that it 'was about time'. Dorian quite assured his own heart had near skipped a beat in that moment. In over five hundred years he had never heard Matteo make such an admittance of....care towards him. The Monarch hurriedly attempting to blink back but any further emotion as that car pulled to a stop outside that glorious basilica, that crowd resounding in another uproar that threatened to drown out the music that had begun to play from within so announcing his arrival. God, but he'd been so determined to make it down that aisle without becoming overly emotional. It simply was not kingly to do so!

"Are you ready to do this? We could drive around the block again and freak him out if you'd like?"
"Thank you, Dad- but I quite think I am more than ready."

That near impish grin so found the Monarch's lips then at the utter look of shock on Matteo's own features at the simple utterance of that singular moniker, that coveted title that he had not, until now, near been ready to afford the man. Matteo not the only one so capable of playing that game. Dorian chuckling softly then. Alexander was the first to step from that vehicle and into the plethora of photographers, the Hunter making his way into that church to stand at the top and by that alter with the rest of that wedding party. Dorian himself opening that door to the roar of that crowd as Matteo came to stand beside him outside those church doors. His Father's shoulder bumping softly against his own. The Monarch affording the Frenchman a smile as those doorman proceeded to open those church doors to reveal that gloriously decorated basilica. That building the only one large enough to hold the sheer number of guests and other royals and dignitaries invited. That music echoing out and onto the street as it rung though that church. Each and every guest rising to their feet at his own entry and yet- his own gaze was focused upon but a singular being at that alter.

How perfect Sebastian looked. In every possible way. The vampire so utterly breathtaking Dorian near forget he was so required to walk at all. Matteo's hushed whisper reminding him of that very task of his actually being required to walk down that aisle. The French Fae content to walk beside him. How gloriously that church was decorated, Dorian spying rather a number of guests he knew in that crowd. Those friends they had invited and whom had flown from that city to be here today and yet, amongst all that celebration and grandeur and excitement he truly only had eyes for Sebastian.
