Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

want to love you hard

He knew Amelia didn't really want to bring Tenley to the wedding in Italy but he was glad in the end that she'd agreed to do so. He was on edge the whole time too so he stayed close. He would never let anyone get close enough to harm Amelia or Tenley. He had measures set up at home to guarantee their safety so traveling was dangerous anyway but he asked Amelia to trust him in protecting them and in the end, she'd surrendered so they could go pay their respects to Dorian and Sebastian. In a way, he thought she might feel obliged cause they had them over for dinner when she went into labor with Tenley so maybe she felt like she owed them. He could remember how curious Dorian looked of the baby girl when she reached for him.

There was nothing they could do about her liking for fairy blood but at least as she aged, they could teach her how to control it. That was one thing he was learning. Apparently she could age. He only wondered how far she would age. Would she stop at maturity and then be immortal like them or would she continue to age like a human?

But such thoughts were pushed back when they walked back through the door of home after a long flight back and Amelia's first question was in concern over Tenley and hiding her existance as a vampire child. He gave her a gentle smile. "We will protect her. We'll always protect her. And now that I'm in a court, the court will protect her too. The more allies we have, the better. More eyes looking out for Tenley." He knew she was looking for reassurance, even if she didn't expect an answer from him. He wanted to comfort her anyway. He wished Amelia would open up to him more about her worries. He knew that she was trying to stay strong but he could help with solutions. He had already figured for school, they would home school her online so she could go by her own schedule and no one would think twice about a student doing her work at night cause who hasn't heard of a kid who's a night owl?

They would figure out a way for her to socialize with other kids, but she would need to be taught safety at home first anyway before they could trust her not to tell her secret or try to use her strength on anyone out in public. He smirked as she dropped her purse and handed off Tenley. "Hey, baby girl." He murmured affectionately as he held her to his chest and rocked her gently, leaning down to rub his nose against hers. He watched Amelia leave the room, knowing she was going to get them food. He smirked down at Tenley. "Mommy's gonna make sure you're all fed up. We'll keep you safe and happy, Tenley. Don't ever doubt that." He murmured with a determined expression, his eyes ablaze for a minute before they grew tender again. He took the bottle Amelia handed him, holding to Tenley's mouth and watching her with pure love in his eyes as she drank. It warmed his heart to see her so bright and healthy. His beautiful baby girl.

At Amelia's request, he nodded. "Okay, love, but only cause you asked. Otherwise I'd never part from this perfect angel." Giving Tenley a wink, he set her down in her bassinet and kissed Amelia back, one brow lifting as she rushed up the stairs headed to the bedroom. "Hmm." He was thoughtful as he made sure Tenley was tucked in. He leaned in to kiss her forehead. "Sleep tight, Tenley. Daddy loves you." Then he headed after Amelia, taking his time cause he liked the suspense. His lips tugged into a smirk, his eyes already heated at the possibilities of what she could be doing. He knew she'd been restless waiting on the all clear from the doctor and meanwhile their love life had to take a few bypasses to satisfy their needs. He didn't mind her hands or her mouth but there was just nothing like the connection he felt when they were truly together in bed.

He could smell the rose petals before he entered the room. He took his sweet time, leaning in the door frame to enjoy the scene put out before him. His eyes swept over the room, taking their time taking in the rose petals and the candles lit everywhere. The bed had fresh satin sheets on it and lying on the sheets was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. She was completely naked, her hair falling down her chest like a dark waterfall. He was mesmerized. He inhaled sharply, knowing he had fallen so hard for this woman. There was no hope of ever recovering. "You are so beautiful." He murmured, not moving from the door frame yet. "I just wish I could take this moment and put it away to take out and look at whenever I want." He smirked a little, his eyes softened as he moved to the bed finally.

Instead of getting on the bed with her, he dropped to his knees in front of the bed, his hands reaching out to hold hers so he could bring them to his lips. He looked up into her eyes. "I love you so much, Amelia. I never thought I'd ever feel like this about anyone but you have me, body and soul. I know this isn't the right time and there are many more things I'd like to do to you right not but I want you to know where my heart lies. I want you to marry me." He searched her face, holding his breath.
