Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He both humbled and surprised when she nodded in response. He knew she had no problem biting him during sex to help deepen both their pleasure but he didn't think she'd succumb so easily to feeding on him when she was hurt. He could tell it wasn't fatal or she would be much weaker. None the less, he wanted to do all that he could to help her and make her better. If that meant being her blood bag, he would do it. He would do anything for her. Plus he knew he would always get a sense of pleasure from her bite. Once they were safely out of the club, she teased him about attracting danger and he pretended to be hurt. She was quick to correct him, saying she didn't mean it that way so he let his lips tug into a little smirk, his eyes twinkling as if to say "got'cha." When he offered to buy a club just for them, she even agreed to it, saying they could be more handsy and he chuckled before giving her a dark look. "Darling, you can get handsy with me anywhere and any time. I don't mind, pinky promise."

He could tell she was feeling bad about the situation as they walked to the car. He squeezed her hand, trying to comfort her. He knew Tenley was a big factor in her agreeing to just leave with him. She wouldn't leave her daughter without a mother and he loved her for that. Once in the car, she squeezed his hand and he smiled at her, wanting her to know everything was going to be okay. He drove them home as fast as he could without getting a ticket, sure that Amelia wanted to put her sight on Tenley just as much as he did right now. As they pulled up and he parked the car, Amelia ran into the house. He took a moment to look around, using his instincts to tell him if there was anything amiss or any signs of danger. His traps seemed to be intact and nothing was pointing to danger so he let out his breath in a long exhale and went into the house after Amelia. He didn't have to think of where she was; he already knew cause he was heading that way too.

When he got to the nursery room, he leaned on the doorjamb for a moment, letting Amelia have her time alone with Tenley. She seemed to be just watching their daughter. Once he was satisfied she was reassured, he made his way over to her, wrapping his arms aroun dher waist and pulling her back against his chest. "See? Everyone's okay." He whispered, kissing her earlobe softly as he peered down into the crib. His eyes lit up, watching Tenley sleep. He could do this all night. But finally Amelia wanted to go so he followed her out and watched her close the nursery door. As she went went downstairs and toward the bathroom, he went to the kitchen to get a drink. He was feeling a little thirsty after all that exertion with his powers. As he downed a bottle of Gatorade, he heard Amelia calling for him so he made his way to her. She handed him a box of medical supplies and he glanced down at it before raising a brow at her. Then she told him he had to remove the bullet.

He nodded. "Okay, I can do that." He'd removed enough bullets from himself over the years. He was actually a little nervous about doing it with Amelia though, cause he didn't want to hurt her. He went over to the table and pulled out two chairs, patting his hand on one for her to sit. He was sure she'd want to do this on the tile floor where it's easier to clean than the carpet in the living room. Waiting for her to take a seat, he pulled out the tweezers and the Vodka. "Okay, sweetheart, tell me when you're ready." Only once he was sure did he pour some alcohol on the wound first to sterilize it as best as possible before handing her the bottle in case she needed some liquid courage herself while he worked. Then he slowly pressed the tweezer tips into the wound, searching for the bullet. When he felt them hit metal, he gentle maneuvered the tips of the tweezers around the end adn pulled, guiding it out of her skin. He didn't even realize he had been holding his breath the whole time but he let out it finally as he dropped the bullet into the sink.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to wash it and take it to the Council just in case this is something bigger than just a club shootout." He figured it was better to be safe than sorry. If they were part of some bigger force, he wanted the Council to know about it. Tracing the bullet could only help.
