Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Dorian Ellington-Aragona

The King of Italy

How very like Raven it was to consider herself selfish for having enjoyed that time alone with her new husband! That young woman, he was assured, was perhaps one of the most selfless beings he knew and yet, as if she had stepped out of the very history books themselves- she so readily chastised herself for the very notion her own honeymoon might be considered a selfish act. That faint flicker of gentle amusement so found his features at that very admittance as he settled himself comfortably within his own chair. Dorian quite finding he looked forward to that tea. How well those heaters worked to chase the cold from the air and yet- how much he looked forward to that warm tea all the same. The Monarch reaching easily for his waiting cup as Raven continued with her very tale of her honeymoon and her trip to Africa. A continent he himself was yet to visit and yet one Sebastian remained hesitant of if only for that distinctly unstable government in some areas.Yet, surely, if Raven and Tobias could manage such a trip there was no reason they could not go in turn. How very much he might like to see a wild camelopard close up! Perhaps Raven had seen one. Dorian so making a mental note of sorts to inquire of it when the young woman asked after his own honeymoon and whether or not Sebastian and himself had been much the same in their selfish desires to enjoy that time with one another. Dorian unable to prevent that near impish simper that found him even if he was assured 'mate' was a curious word to apply to his own relationship. How baffling the Were world.

"Darling, Sebastian and I rarely got out of bed the entire time- that is exactly how it was and I am quite sure exactly how it is supposed to be."

A soft chuckle so easily found his own lips. Raven, he was assured, had been his friend entirely long enough that they might speak frankly. The Monarch content to assure her that her want to be alone with her new husband was hardly selfish nor at all surprising in any real sense. Indeed it would be far more obscure if she had wanted to be away from him! Dorian took another ready sip off his tea then before gesturing to those biscuits with the insistence Raven help herself. The Fae King reaching forward to place a piece of shortbread upon his own plate before asking how she was enjoying married life. The duties of a wife, he suspected, had changed rather dramatically since his own time. What was now expected both men and women within a marriage was far more equal, perhaps, then it had been in his own day and yet there was still adjustments to be made. After all, each and every decision to be made now had to be made as a couple, rather then as an individual which surely took some measure of practice to achieve. Raven appearing very near baffled by the question before replying. Her mention of that term 'mate' once more a wholly curious one, Dorian quite assured he did not fully understand the term. At least, not in the fashion it was being used.

"I don't think it is supposed to make you feel different, no. What I merely meant is that marriage is a change, an adjustment that can take time to get used to. Although if you were already living as mates I suspect you were very nearly married as it was in the eyes of your species. Perhaps it has not been such a big change at all."

He mused those words politely and with a clear consideration of sorts for that Were-World he understood so little of. Perhaps, one day, he would need query Raven on its intricacies. Maybe he would ask Abby too, the young woman had been wholly delightful and indeed he found he rather looked forward to having her over again even if he was yet to see her Panda-form. That comment upon the young woman's dress so easily found his lips then. Dorian so firmly believing in complimenting a woman's appearance when they went to so very much effort. Raven insisting it had been for fear of those photographers whom so notoriously seemed to plague the outside of their gates even after the veritable hype over their marriage. Her assurance she and Tobias should be allowed to scare them however brought that ready chuckle to his lips.

"That is a generous offer Raven, thank you. As trying as they can be though I think it best Wolves and Leopards were not photographed running free outside my home lest my country believe it is a security concern. Sebastian and I like living here, we would be remiss to be forced to move for fear of wild animals."

Another chuckle tugged softly at his lips then. Dorian reaching for that shortbread biscuit before biting into it. That sugary taste terribly pleasant. Raven continuing on then to assure him she was trying to see everyone in the wake of their honeymoon and that Tobias had gone to spend much-needed time with Tetradore. The very closeness between the two men had hardly been unobserved by the Monarch himself at that wedding. It was pleasing to consider that Aiden had such a close companion, one akin to a very brother. Odd though that pair of men truly were with one another.

"Sebastian is very well. A little concerned perhaps with the state of some of the public offices in Italy but we are working on it. He cares a very great deal about people- it is one of the things I adore most about him. Even if I know is stresses him to be as such sometimes. Tell me, did you enjoy the tea set we sent you? Have you taken tea from it yet? It should give a superb taste."
