Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

A visible frown crossed Alistair's features as he made his way towards the door, already contemplating exactly who might be on the other side. It wasn't often that Alistair had guests, after all, the man more than capable of considering everyone who visited him on a frequent basis - none of which would be presently knocking at his door beyond, perhaps, his parents. The sheer idea of them made him cringe as he peeked through the small hole in the door. At the very least he wanted to be prepared for dealing with his father before he opened the door. The one thing he didn't expect, however, was to find the obscured refracted figure of Carolina mirrored in the peephole. His eyebrows rose in surprise as Alistair reached for the doorknob - turning it to pull open the door. Her name echoed softly upon his lips as his emerald eyes fell upon the blonde woman. For a moment, he watched as the astonishment flickered across her face - though he could scarcely comprehend why. After all, whom else had she expected to answer the door? His brows furrowed ever so slightly in consideration before Alistair inquired, vaguely, just why she was even in front of his door in the first place.

The sound of his voice seemed to bring her back to the present, her apology stopping quite as quickly as it had begun. His head tilted ever so slightly to the side as he eyed her. Her insistence that she was bored however, caused a single brow to rise dubiously - what...exactly...was he supposed to do about that? Had she thought he'd just...entertain her? He was hardly oblivious to the flush that turned her cheeks a soft rosy hue, the color somehow accenting her cheekbones in a way he found..distracting. "Um..." Alistair started, his baritone voice trailing off as his emerald eyes watched her fingers run through the tangled locks of her long blonde hair. The artist had, admittedly, always had a thing for girls with long hair. It was a shame she didn't wear it that way more often. That sheepish smile she gave him resulted in a weak attempt at a simper from the artist - one that was decidedly rare even if it was half hearted. Thankfully, Carolina continued her efforts at...well...Alistair wasn't quite sure at what exactly as she insisted she felt she was going crazy within her own apartment. The pandemic had...certainly had that effect on a lot of people, not that the Dark Hunter had been given the luxury of remaining idle even in the state of a global illness. Thanks a lot, Adrien.

His internal grumbling, however, ceased near abruptly at her offer for coffee. Something...warm certain sounded alluring, even Alistair had to admit that. "Uh...yeah...coffee sounds...great actually." The Dark Hunter admitted, "Just...let me grab some shoes." He held the door open for her, allowing Carolina to join him in his flat while he fetched some resemblance of footwear. After all, it would be rude to simply leave her waiting out in the hallway. Alistair waited only until she stepped inside to close the door behind her. The artist easily slipped around her, though she hardly needed him to lead the way into the open concept loft. His own apartment was the antithesis of Carolina's. The furniture was of marked quality - though it held a more modern and decidedly clean flair. There was a certain sort of orderliness to everything, evident in the lack of unnecessary clutter and decided neatness to every aspect of the flat. Even so, Alistair's canvases were still stacked in the corner - two easels were still positioned in front of the window, both holding some half finished work. "Give me a sec." He called over his shoulder as the artist disappeared down the hallway towards the bedrooms - leaving Carolina alone within the livingroom no more than a few moments. Alistair returned a short time later with shoes on his feet and a jacket he was in the process of threading his arms through. "All right, let's go - did you have a place in mind?"
