Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I will

rise up

in spite of the ache

Henry just barely heard Sterling as he came down the hallway, his focus completely on not burning the sanwich in the pan. Henry was not at all a good cook, so the few things that he did know how to make he had to focus very hard on so they wouldn't end up a disaster.

Just as Sterling was addressing him, Henry flipped the sandwich on a plate and cut it in half. He turned to hand Sterling the sandwich as he took the clothes. "Thanks..." It was a quiet thanks, but genuine. "I don't know if you like triangles or rectangles...so you got triangles..." He was referring to the cut of the sandwich but something told him that likely, Sterling didn't care what the shape of his meal was in.

He quickly went around the bar so he could change and not flash his nudity around. If they were still an item, Henry wouldn't have cared so much about changing in front of Sterling. But they weren't an item...hell, they weren't even friends anymore it seemed. Once he was dressed, he placed the towel that had been previously around his waist on the back of one of the bar stools.

Looking over Sterling, he appeared alright, just shaken up. Then again, Henry couldn't blame him. Not only was his attacked by hunters, but he went face to face with the same beast that had nearly killed him. "Are you hurt?" Despite everything, Henry still cared deeply for Sterling. He loved him and he doubted there was anything that would take those feelings away. He wanted to protect the man in every way. If he had a bruise or even a scrape that didn't even draw blood, Henry wanted to heal it. "Let me heal your injuries..." it was the least he could do after all.

Down the hall the bird made a little chirp, a gentle reminder that he needed to warn Sterling that he was unsure of what damage the arrow had caused. "I removed the arrow from your bird...but I don't know if the poison is still there." He could heal most bodily injuries but removing poison from the bloodstream was simply a skill he didn't have.
