Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

kissing death and loosing my breath

The young witch stood in front of the mirror leaning against her bedroom wall for nearly twenty minutes now. She had leafed through nearly the entirety of her wardrobe to find the least nice thing that she didn't mind getting dirty and yet was still entirely flattering to her feminine figure. It was a set of criteria that Serafina had quickly found was hard to entirely meet. Nevertheless, the young girl managed to put together something and had since spent her last five minutes reassuring herself that she both managed to look decent enough in it and that it was acceptable to dirty in what she had taken to calling her "swamp adventure". Her gaze, throughout it all, kept finding it's way to the clock, counting down the minutes until he would be here. It was peculiar really, no one had ever affected her in such a fashion. She'd never really cared if people came or went - they were all just fleeting things in her life and then there was Azrael. Somehow, the knowledge of their....arrangement caused butterflies in the usually disinterested girl's stomach. The moment that his fist wrapped on the front of the door, the young witch was up on her feet, rushing to answer his call in an uncharacteristically girlish fashion.

She paused for a moment behind the closed door, reminding herself for a moment that she needed to breathe. She glanced down over the jeans and shirt she'd chosen, straightening out the fabric so it lay flat against her curves and then, with one last inhale, she opened the door. A small, endearing simper crossed Serafina's lips at the ever present disgruntled glimpse on Azrael's features, her head slowly tilting to the side when he failed to offer her any immediate sign of hello. She took the opportunity of his clearly lost in thought moment to glance over his own figure, from the jeans he wore to the shirt that covered his muscular chest before moving up his neck and then - wait, what was that? Her eyebrows furrowed as she begun to study the rather notable puncture wounds. Serafina knew well what those were and too couldn't help but to worry that if the vampire had gotten that close to Azrael, there might be other damage to the man beyond what she could see.

"Hm?" She inquired, her focus turning back towards the man the moment he'd begun speaking to her. She glanced down at her own wardrobe once again before offering the smallest of shrugs. "It's okay, I knew it would." She responded before taking a step closer towards the man, reaching up just enough to gingerly brush her fingertips on the area surrounding the bite. "Are you okay, Azrael?" She inquired, glancing at the man's features before adding in a much more tentative voice, "Do you want me to help with that?" The witch knew well what his stance on her magic was and yet, this was fully in the realm of her herbs to heal, if he accepted it. She doubted he would but, her budding care for him saw Serafina offer it nevertheless. After all, what fun was a date if one of the pair was suffering?
