Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Henry ran for what seemed like hours, not looking back, not caring in what direction he was running to. He just ran. However, as the sun began to just peek over the horizon, the cat became tired. Henry was slowing down, his breathing growing rapid as his lungs tried to supply oxygen to his fatigued muscles. And yet somehow, the cat had managed to re-enter the city, finding himself at the base of the steps that stood in front of the building he had once called home. His body collapsed on it as the weary cat tried to rest.

Throughout the long night, Henry hadn't realized Sterling had gone after him. He just knew that he had to run. He couldn't bear to hurt Sterling, but he wasn't sure how long he could remain calm and himself. The animal instincts had taken over so quickly and the last thing Henry wanted to do was hurt the one person he loved more than anything. He didn't trust himself and that was what scared him.

As his body lay in a tired heap on the stairs, he could feel the bones in his body break once more. Although this time was less painful, it still hurt. As a feline, he was unable to shout out and cry, so he just took the pain. There was no Sterling here to help. As his bones began to return to human form, his fur began to melt away, leaving the form of a naked man lying on the stairs in the early morning of Sacrosanct. When the shift was complete, Henry's body collapsed with exhaustion. He couldn't walk, he couldn't run, he could only lay there in a naked heap of himself. His body was so exhausted, he wasn't even sure if someone would be able to wake him.
