South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The man seemed bewildered by her every answer but she took it all in stride. She was used to being looked at as incompetent. Being underestimated was one of her strong suits but Malia learned how to play it to her advantage. She allowed others to think of her what they wanted and she would get what she wanted. Either they would feel sorry for her and give her things or they avoid her and leave her alone. She didn't care, either way. She continued to take big bites of the sandwich as he spoke, only half listening since her taste buds were going off like crazy. Really, what IS this thing? It was amazing not to have meat on it!

"BUTCHERED? IS THAT A SPECIAL WAY TO KILL SOMETHING?"

She couldn't help it that violence was something she understood better than other things. She didn't see how anyone could turn hunting into a sport. It was a way of survival, not something you do for the fun of it. Sure, it could sometimes be considered fun but that's not why she killed prey. It was to feed her pack and sustain the young. What were humans thinking?

She glanced around her when he said that he had plenty of food. Where was it hiding, in the walls? How much food did he expect her to eat? She was polishing off the sandwich by now. She licked her lips by habit.

"SO I COULD HAVE LIKE 3 MORE OF THOSE THINGS? THAT WAS GOOD."

She was always good at eating. She watched with suspicion as he walked into the kitchen and came back with some sort of can. And he was drinking from it! Her eyes widened and she leaned toward it to smell it.

"WHAT'S THAT? IT SMELLS FUNNY."

He seemed to have a lot of cool trinkets and stuff she didn't know about here but then she didn't know a lot about anything in the human world. She'd never even been inside a house before, let alone sitting on a human's couch. It felt all scratchy and yet squishy. She could probably sleep for days on something like this.

She could smell someone else in this place. Must be his partner, friend, or whatever. She wondered if he would be okay with her being here. Are humans territorial? Would he expect her to submit or something? That's something she was never good at.
