South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Seconds turned into minutes and minutes felt hours, as if time were torture in itself. She felt like she had been stuck for agonizing moments that might have been years. So much for that life of freedom. Somehow she had managed to find herself in another life threatening trap. The irony of it all was almost laughable and yet in some ways she would have chosen the trap over the hell she had turned from.

The wolf hid her pain well, her features obtaining an icy stoic and almost serenity that washed over her. At least until she couldn't anymore. She had no choice, especially being hyper aware of another. She would not let her weakness show. She swallowed her throbbing discomfort down to the deepest chambers of her soul. Mind you the moment before tall dark and lazy showed up she was feeling rather sorry for herself. She didn't cower in fear at the panther or snap at him like some rabid foaming thing, like an animal in pain ought to react to his approach in this state.

The she-wolf sorted through the scent of feline that delicately toyed with her senses, there was something odd about his smell she couldn't quite place. She sensed him, before he had even made his grand entrance, that lacked a certain panache. His voice languidly heard overhead each word dripping from the tree with a thick syrupy boredom. She flashed those pearly dagger-like fangs for but a moment, before she could determine if he was a threat. No, she might not have claws but she was certainly all teeth and razor sharp cunning.

Lifting her charcoal head in his direction, her glowing amber gaze cast a pensive stare in his direction. She winced at the pain which overwhelmed her due to the abrupt movement. Her flesh quietly sizzled from silver eating away at her flesh, heart beat racing like it had purpose. No she was no use like this, she was at a severe disadvantage to meet another supernatural creature in this vulnerable state, another predator no less. Many of her kind would take advantage of a dismal situation such as this and end another in the simple desire to be top of the food chain.

The odds were not in her favour if this were to end up a fight, but the way he peered at her was much more like sleepy cuddly koala like than venomous jungle cat poised to kill. From the looks of it, he had no intention of leaving his spot.. "Well, someone looks.. observant." She mocked him with that almost playful subtly or sarcasm. The correct word she had wanted to say was 'useless'. But that wouldn't have been kind to the creature that was not currently trapped. As the saying goes, if you don't have something nice to say, don't. At least when the odds are against you.

Felines had a tendency to work on their own, as if a sign hung from their neck 'does not play well with others',. especially when it came to food, or matters of self-preserving. They almost always put themselves first. The raven wolf wasn't entirely surprised by the mysterious panther's cool indifference.

Uneasy, she shifted her weight only making her unintentional tug on the teeth of the trap which in turn rewarded with a bountiful deeper bite. An unintentional whine escaped her, so much for serenity. "So are you always simple tree candy, kitty cat? If you are the modest type, I suggest you look away." She mustered out of gritted teeth, almost impressed with the way she concealed pain. Pain=weakness and she refused to be witnessed as weak even as the silver poisoned her blood every cursed second she remained like this. She huffed out what seemed like a small sigh, sorting out her lack of options. The forecast seemed dismal at best. She had decided the panther was as useless as a house cat. She turned her gaze to face the trap beginning to formulate a plan that didn't involve mister 'I-don't-want-to-get-my-paws-dirty' up overhead.

If he had wanted to attack her, he would have done it already she had decided. That and he didn't seem like he wanted to exert himself in the effort at the moment. 'Men' she thought before allowing her furred flesh turn into naked skin. Where useless paws became fingers she could use to pry the piranha like trap off herself.
