South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. She should go back to the apartment yet the witch had very little desire to remain alone in the confines of those walls. She simply wanted the fresh air, though it be a little cold still, Vhalla knew the weather would chase her indoors sooner rather than later due to the loss of her jacket. Heaving a sigh, she almost convinces herself to leave the forest when the deep voice of a man startles her. Flinching, she launches to her feet, whirling around and she's even more surprised to see her body engulf in flames once again as a jet of fire shoots in the direction of the voice.

Stumbling backwards, she swats at the flames in the air, as if she could really put it out that way. Finally, she manages to subdue the flames again as she takes a deep breath. Rotating her head in the direction of the man, she arches her brow at the faint familiar figure. Tossing a hand on her hip she glowers at him, noting the singed arm of his leather jacket, completely ruined now. Quickly doing a once over to see if she had harmed the man she can't help but hide the disbelief in her features, "Are you insane? I could have roasted you!" She snarls at him as she attempts to calm the thumping of her heart.

She was that close to harming someone with her flames again. It dredged up awful memories that the assassin subdued long ago. Taking a deep breath, she takes a step closer, eyeing his arm. From where she was standing she had a difficult time telling if she had burnt the man, or merely the jacket. Instead she searches his features for any sign of pain. After her inspection, she traces the ruined arm of his jacket again before a wide grin spreads across her features, the assassin is close to leaping with joy but she refrains from doing so. "Do you know how long I've been trying to create something? For hours! What did it look like? Was it a ball of fire or a jet?" she interrogates the man quickly, excitement flushing her cheeks, forgetting she had nearly just barbequed him.

Tilting her head, it finally dawns on her who the man is before her. She had met him once at The Ark, he had denied her entrance to the fights and had simply told her it was a place for shifters only. Her icy eyes harden at the memory, all trace of excitement gone, though it had been several months ago, Vhalla hadn't been particularly fond of the man after that; they had also met for maybe five minutes. "I remember you," Vhalla states eyes searching his features once more, "Your name's Teddy... Ted... Something like that," she mumbles before continuing, "You wouldn't let me fight," she frowns at him, removing her hand from her hip as she prowls closer to the stranger halting a few feet away. This man had once been Sam's lover and as far as Vhal knew, he was supposed to be decomposing in a ditch somewhere.

Arching a curious brow at him, she folds her arms across her chest, the lean muscle shifting beneath the length of her suit, "Aren't you supposed to be dead? I heard from Sam before she left that you were, well... disintegrated," she trails off, realizing she had nearly just set the man on fire who had been brought back from the dead. Cringing inwardly, she can't help but feel a little remorse but her curiosity trumps that guilt. "What makes you so special?" she questions, her eyes narrowing, "Why do you get to come back from the dead?"
