South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

If there was one thing she wished her witch had more of, it was empathy. For whatever reason Serafina remained indifferent to her own dismal emotions. Tetradore wasn't just her Alpha, he was the reason why she was safe, why they were all safe. If Serafina could see that, and recognize how much the jungle cat meant to her, or her pack mates than maybe she would understand the severity of his loss and why it hurt so deeply. The woman didn't consider her actions of the consequences that came with it. Raven was not interested in leaving her home. The possibility of something going wrong was extremely high. Frost was a very large threat and although she was terrified of him, she didn't want her pack mates or the staff at the Ark to suffer underneath his wrath. Raven didn't blame Serafina for not being considerate, it wasn't her fault. Maybe if she was a Were and not a witch then she would have a bit of understanding. The comment from the raven-haired woman was met with a defeated sigh and a shake of her head. Stuffing her hands within her pockets of her hoodie, she grumbled softly.

"Is that what you really want? The ghost of my Alpha haunting you? Me, stuck as some sort of pet in your home?"

Quietly she watched the woman perform her ice trick. She wouldn't admit it, but she was intrigued to how she was capable of actually freezing the water. Raven never saw Serafina use this particular power of hers. Perhaps it might be because the last time Raven experienced something 'cold' was from the were-horse that was the bane of their pack's existence. Lowering herself to the ground she snuck one hand out from the warmth of her pocket, her hand touching the ice below. It seemed okay, maybe. Seeing Serafina step onto the ice caused that bond between them to stir. As the witch's familiar one of her roles was to be some sort of guardian or protector. The witch never seemed to consider her own safety, and so, Raven did that for her. Warily she watched as the witch managed to keep herself upright and balanced on the ice, eyes darting to the ice to see it not cracking or breaking underneath her weight. Well, at least she hadn't fallen in yet so that must be a good sign.

Hesitantly she took a step, placing one foot on the ice, holding her arms out for balance as she placed her other foot. Cautiously she slid one foot forward, and then brought the other one, getting used to the ice grazing against the bottom of her sneakers. Feeling herself lose balance, she flapped her arms up and down, trying to right herself. She was not meant to be on this ice. Nope. This was not for her at all. However, she didn't want to leave Sera here all alone. That wouldn't be a good familiar if she ditched the witch. Seeing Serafina trying to keep up right the lupine tried to make her way over to her as quickly as she could, without falling. That flick of her wrist and remark she hollered out was enough to make Raven have second thoughts. Maybe she should stay out here by her lonesome. Grumbling she made a huffy retort.

"And how will you deal with Tobi's anger? He won't be happy with you, he already doesn't like you which we need to fix."

If her mate was going to get along with her friend, then they were going to need to need to make up and be friends. The last time Serafina had interacted with her mate was when Serafina and Azrael broke into the Ark and knocked him and her late Alpha out. Even though the witch meant well with her act, it could have gone a much different way. Seeing them squabble as she got ready to depart on whatever adventure Serafina wanted to take her on, was a strong show that there was a lot of work to be done to try and get them to get along. She wanted her closest friend and mate to be on better terms. Something would need to be done. However, she was assured that her coming back to the Ark harmed, turned into a zombie, or dead would make that chance of comradery between the two quite impossible. Trying to keep herself upright, she watched how the woman lifted her foot to try and get ice underneath her shoe to be attached. When the witch tried to do it on the other foot, she managed to hold her arm out and grabbed the woman to help steady her for a moment. It was the sound coming from another voice that caused the woman to lift her head upwards to find who it belonged to. Eyes narrowed as noticed the woman looked familiar, softly she murmured to her witch, agreeing with her.

"See, even she thinks this is a bad idea."
