South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

How unfortunate that the art of courting had been lost! Dorian frowning slightly in displeasure at this offered information. The idea that Raven's mate had merely appeared at any time to take her out was all but unheard off. To think, she might never know when to expect him and by that notion never know when to ready herself! How people these days ever got together he had no idea. Dorian so given to consider how fortunate he was to have courted a man whom understood just how such a thing worked. That mystery and intriguing and torturous waiting that only seemed to stir those feelings of want and longing and wondering just how that lover might dress or where they might go. That Raven had missed out on such things was displeasing to him and yet, as much in this world, there was little he could do to turn back the time. Dorian merely affording her a nod as he moved to take another sip of his coffee. His words however, had so seemingly stirred something of a memory within the woman, her eyes drifting from his own to stare with a look almost wistful as her cheeks flushed a bright and adorable pink. Dorian chuckling softly as his companion looked up hurriedly, suddenly embarrassed at having been so spied within her daydream. It was not truly difficult to guess as to her thoughts in this. Dorian himself was often prone to them and yet they afforded a delight to his day to consider them, the King seeing little need to press her upon them however, merely smiling softly, knowingly and so allowing her to seize upon those other topics he offered.

"I had not been outside Italy until I came here and now I have seen England too. Sebastian has been speaking of Barcelona later this year, my Kingdom encompasses several Spanish areas I have never seen. I look greatly forward to it. You must consider going."

That such things were not so easy for some had hardly occurred to the man and yet it was hardly any sense of impoliteness nor ego that prompted such idle words. Dorian, more so, simply did not know of the responsibilities of the Were world and those ideals of pack. Nor, truly, how difficult it might be for Raven to travel with mate whom was not accustomed to foreign countries let alone civil behaviours in company. The world to Dorian, still, was a matter of simplicity in most respects. It was the paparazzi whom had given them the most trouble in Italy, his and Sebastian's image upon the cover of Vogue no less having only further increased their fame and yet for now at least the press was yet to discover their location in this city. Dorian enjoying the return to anonymity with but the occasional being given to recognise them, even if he was now escorted by his security on all occasions. Several of them scattered about the area now and yet Dorian had insisted upon their being unobtrusive and concealed for the most part. Raven, he was sure, would adore Rome or England or any of those historical places rich in their culture and history and art she seemed to adore. Dorian delighting in but the thought of her enjoying the world he had been born into. After all, she was but one of the few he had genuinely befriended within this city. He enjoyed her company, her intelligence and her demeanour. She was the very sort of woman to be valued and a part of the Monarch desired to see her enjoy herself. Surely her husband might indulge her bright mind on occasion as Sebastian so eternally did for him with those trips to museums and aquariums and galleries?

The manner in which the girl pulled back her hair to allow him to see that leopard charm saw the Fae King lean forward just so, his bright eyes resting upon that sweet token before she held forward her wrist to display that simple and yet clearly hand woven bracelet of plaited leather. It was a truly basic gift and yet so have something one had made, even when it was simple, was truly meaningful. Dorian wholly aware of just what such a thing might represent to the woman, his own warm simper gracing his lips before that pleasant scent made itself known. Ah, how delightful! Dorian's head tilted slightly in consideration of that scent.

"I do not know this perfume, tell me, what is it? It is pleasant for a woman. It is good he gives you these things to wear, it is a gesture of affection and care and we men like to adorn those we love in the things we have chosen for them. I gifted my lover a wrist watch and he gifted to me a ring, he wears its twin. It is my favourite of all gifts I have ever been given."

His own left hand lifted then, showing Raven that black ring upon his ring finger, that warm simper upon his lips before his gaze drifted just so to those marks upon her neck. It was curious perhaps, that he should notice them at all and yet upon her otherwise unmarked skin such wounds were all the more clear. How curious. Was her mate not also a Were as she was? Was this a usual custom among their species? Any query Dorian may have held upon it however was lost amongst his thoughts as Raven sought to explain why her husband had not accompanied her today. Dorian truly curious to meet this man whom had stolen Raven's heart. Her words were...unusual. Raven speaking as if her mate was some sort of...oddity. Curiosity so touching his features once more as he continued again with his coffee.

"Is it common for other Were to...over take your home if you are gone for but a few hours? This seems unpleasant and almost ancient in its notions. Surely it would be safe for a night or so without you and your lover?"

He paused once more, affording her every chance to explain these matters of Were society to him that he failed to understand. How curious these Were could be. Dorian thankful, truly, that he was not one of them. This society seeming to hold its own rules and yet really was it so different to the rules of Court? Dorian allowing such thoughts to pass for now. The Monarch seeming thoughtful for several moments before pausing to reach into his jacket pocket, producing that small, square package wrapped in that glorious gold paper that so personified the Monarch himself as he handed it to her. Gesturing for her to unwrap it.

"When we returned to my palace in Naples I took the time to go through my Libraries and I thought you might like to have this. It is over a century old so I fear you must be careful. It is called, in English, The Grey Fairy Book. It has within it many fairy tales passed down by spoken word since before even I was born. It is silly perhaps, to gift you with fairy tales and yet they speak too of history and art and culture in the time they were written. A woman such as you should have stories such as these to alight her imagination. I have no use for it anymore. I know each by heart and I will have no children. Perhaps- one day, you might read it to your children if you are to be so blessed."

Dorian was, at heart, a generous being and one so inclined to think of others. Raven unforgotten, it would seem, even amongest the madness of his return to Italy and the ever-busy life he found Sebastian and himself inclined to live in the wake of it. Dorian settling softly back against his chair now.

"I should like to hear more of your lover, if you care to tell me of him."
