South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The Sun Also Rises

It was one of those truly rare nights in which the Fae had so found himself apart from his vampiric companion. Sebastian, this evening, had been summoned to his office to perform perhaps the first 'work' Dorian had ever seen the vampire do in nearly that year they had been together. Whatever disaster had so befallen one off his mines had required his lovers immediate attention and in some effort to afford the man that privacy to speak with whomever it was he was required to in order to rectify that issue, Dorian had simply taken himself out with the promise he would return in an hour or so. His lips pressed with affection to Sebastian's cheek before he simply made his way out and into the cool of the evening. He had little intention of travelling far, his silver gaze glancing downward at the time upon his phone to make note of it before returning his hands to his pockets. Dorian having made an effort of later to walk at least a little more...casually. A task that was not nearly so easy as it should have been with that pair of guards following behind. The Monarch so turning to afford them a scowl that saw them shuffle several feet back in an effort to remain unobtrusive and as if they were hardly following him at all.

Why he so chose that particular bar he hardly knew. The Fae still wholly curious of so many things within the modern world that he could surely have chosen any place with which to entertain himself and yet the man so found himself drawn to that rather pleasant atmosphere off this place in particular. He had come to learn, this past year, that there were a great deal many bars. Some far more personable then others. Some were often downright terrifying, the people within them so far from his own understanding of society that he often avoided such places at all costs. The Monarch having learned to judge which was more suitable for him to be seen in. This bar distinctly modern and yet pleasant. The atmosphere far calmer and less...smoke-filled then so of those previous places he had encountered in his occasional nightly exploration. How unfortunate it was that this city so lacked those British Pubs he had come to enjoy during his time in London, Dorian frowning slightly at that consideration before stepping further into the warmth of that place- his guards scanning that room for any potential threats before stationing themselves at the door.

So few people knew of his existence here, the Palace having chosen to assure both his and Sebastian's location remained concealed from the media and as such the press had not yet managed to find them even if he had so caught an image of himself or his lover plastered across the occasional newspaper of magazine within the city. Dorian often content to try and bury such magazines behind others on newsstands much to Sebastian's continued amusement. His silver-hued gaze roamed easily across that space, Dorian headed towards the bar and a single vacant seat with which to sit himself out only to spy an individual he was entirely assured he knew- even if it had been some months since he had last seen the man upon that beach.

"Troy?"

Those accented words reached easily for the other Fae, Dorian paused again to assure himself he was correct, the other man turning but a moment later as that warm simper so touched Dorian's own features. The Monarch striding towards him now to take that seat beside him. The man genuinely pleased to see that fellow again after so long! His features shifting but slightly at that realisation that, perhaps, Troy had hardly been informed of that other news that Dorian himself had only so come to terms with these past few weeks.

"Have you heard any word from Samantha? She moved away a little while ago, after the death off her lover, I knew not if she had told you or made you aware in any sense. She has no plans to return I fear. I have not seen you of late, I thought perhaps you might care to know all the same."

He offered that easy smile, concealing that sense of sadness he still felt for the woman's departure and too- the way she had so left and yet perhaps it was unwise to dwell upon such things. Dorian merely seeking to afford Troy that knowledge in turn, after all, they had both known her. Dorian doubting, somehow, that she had informed the other Fae of her intentions to leave. The Fae King quick to attempt to move beyond those less pleasing topics all the same. How pleasant it was to be in the company of another Fae. Their species a veritable dying breed it seemed.

"Where have you been these past weeks? It has been near an age since I saw you last!"
