South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

She could recall the Dark Hunter's uncanny ability to move...quickly. Making herself into an ideal compact size seemed like a really good idea. After all he just had to pick her up and then he can do all the work to get them to where Sera was. With a few wags of her tail she stood there hoping the male would understand why she shifted back into her wolf form. Of course she could easily tell him, but like all men they don't like being told something, so a simple declaration of picking her should suffice. She didn't like the idea of being man-handled, but desperate times call for desperate measures. As he bent down to pick her up, she attempted to stay still, trying not to wiggle as much. However, it had been years since she was lifted up. Grey paws dangled as she felt the male attempt to place her somewhere on him. When he finally figured the spot, she went still for a moment, grey-trimmed ears flicking back and forth as her eyes shifted left and right, attempting to get use to this new found height. When he places one hand behind her head, she goes still, a bit nervous. After all, one quick snap of her neck and then she'd be gone. It was the job of a Dark Hunter to kill her kind, and here she was, a weak, defenseless puppy. When he explained in one word why he was holding her like that, she relaxed a little bit...just a little bit.

She knew he was fast, very fast. But this was all just...well...unbelievable. Already the wind was slicing through her thick dark fur, feeling her skin burn. With a soft whimper she nuzzled into his chest, attempting to hide her face underneath his jacket. If she had been in a car with the window down she would be enjoying it! Sadly though this wasn't fun at all. She could feel herself slipping, one paw was placed into his chest as she attempted to keep herself steady. Thankfully he held onto her tighter, and she quickly pressed herself into his chest, hoping to stay in place. It is when he skidded to a halt did she take her head out from behind the flap of his jacket. Blue-grey eyes blinked rapidly as she attempted to figure out just where they were. They were near the West, she knew that much at least. When he actually began to run onto the water she quickly tucked her head back into the inside of his jacket, closing her eyes. How they were running over water, she had no idea, and yet she didn't want to ask. After all it wouldn't be good if she broke his concentration and they fell into the water. When they made it on the ground she could feel his speed decrease and it wasn't until he stopped did she stick her head out again. Now they stood before a warehouse. As he released his tight grip on her and slowly lowered her to the ground, she tumbled pitifully out. Her legs shook from the aftermath, the poor pup swaying back and forth, and stumbling about.

Oh she felt nauseated and so much more. One front paw managed to lift as if she was pleading for a moment, of just...nothing. Head spinning she closed her eyes not moving for a moment. Taking deep breaths she allowed herself a moment to relax. Looking upwards she blinked a bit as she steadied her vision on the crane beside the warehouse. Yep. Angry giraffe. Yep, angry giraffe is the crane. His request that she make herself a bit scarier was answered with the next shift. She was going from her smallest form back into her more gigantic size...and it took a while. As soon as she was done she looked over at him, black lips pulled back to reveal her ivory sharp teeth, a menacing smile. Perhaps this was scary enough. Easily she walked over towards him, lowering her dial to catch the various scents, taking note that many were male, and they were unfamiliar. Seeing him reach out his phone to call her again, already knowing it wouldn't work, she returned to taking a look at the warehouse, studying it for a moment. His request to using her telekinesis wouldn't be a problem. As for opening it quietly, well, not really. As he reached to heat the chains and melt the padlock she took a tentative step forward. Briefly her telekinesis reached out to the metal door, she felt it out, and shook her head the moment she figured it out...his plan wouldn't work.

"I'm sorry, but these doors weigh a lot and are heavy. When I move them...it'll make a noticeable noise. Their hinges will squeak, so I think this is when we charge in?

Looking around she began to bring up the shadows nearby, manipulating it to make it thicker, growing larger and larger. Enough to where the shadows began to swarm around them. Blue-grey eyes looked over to him. If he knew of her telekinesis then surely he knew what her shadow power was. If they were going to infiltrate and break into this warehouse to rescue Sera, then she would make sure that they would at least be protected or hidden. As they were blanketed with the dark shadows she deemed it now enough for them to enter. The doors would open slowly as she pushed the dark shadows into the entrance of the warehouse shielding them as best as she could. Grey-trimmed ears when she didn't hear the worry shouts of alarm that they were there. Walking through the shadows she peered through it, taking notice of a few unknown figures. Easily she lifted them up, like figurines, as they slammed into the metal walls, with a sickening thud. It was the sound of others coming to hear the cause of the noise that caused the bear-sized lupine to snarl, her thick fur sticking out as the shadows continued to expand and cover the area. Firmly her voice pressed into Azrael's and Sera, hoping in some way they'd get some sort of a response for the woman they were coming to rescue.

"I feel a very faint tether to her, like the bond is coming back somehow, but...it doesn't feel good. Sera, were here...where are you?"
