South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

The twins reaction to her hair had been unexpected but they had gotten through the ordeal...barely. Though Micah seemed like he would forever be traumatized, Nadya was grateful for Izzy's relatively quick rebound. It made the car ride that much more tolerable. She hadn't seen her parents since before she moved into the pack home and that in itself left her nerves a little frayed; she had left her brother for his foe. The one thing Nadya could depend on was Frost's allowance for a quiet ride. This had to go smoothly and so she had to think of things to diffuse situations that may come up.

When they slid up to the home Nadya took a moment to look up at it. She had never thought anything of the home she grew up in as it wasn't much different from her birth parents. It was a far cry from many of the trying upbringings of her companions though. Only being out in the world had she come to see how rare her comfortable life had been. It was perhaps one of the many reasons leading Nadya to so adamantly join Frost in his expedition to free his people from the tyrants that enslaved them. That was what she considered it after all- they were slaves. Though her question was rather rhetorically if he was ready, since they were there now, his admittance of being new to the meet in greet was met with a reassuring smile and a soft kiss to his cheek. "I'm here no matter what." That he didn't need to worry about their approval or disapproval dictating their relationship was the least she put at ease.

During the car ride she had come up with one idea so Nadya was careful to place one of the children with Frost and it so happened to be Micah as his lip still trembled at the sight of her. If anything else they he could use Micah as a shield for no harm would come to him if he was near one of the children. It was when she was gathering their things and ushering them towards the walkway that Frost's comment about their own children caught her off-guard. Had he truly thought about that for them? It caused a faint heat rise to her cheeks as she fumbled to regather herself. She would be lying if she hadn't at some point mused about a blonde haired bundle in her arms. That had only ached her heart at something she could never have so was quick to dismiss it. "We...can't. It's not possible." Nadya muttered before quickly knocking on the door. She had never heard of an odd species couple conceiving so had no reason to think otherwise. It wasn't like the pair of them were exactly being careful either so surely it would have happened by now if possible. It was best not to entertain thoughts of things that can't happen.

Nadya didn't even have the time to greet her mother before being questioned about her hair. She knew the hair was different but surely it wasn't that big of a deal? Nadya could only give quick explanation in hopes to slide past the topic and shuffle into the house. "Good...morning.." Cynthia was still in confused shock watching the couple before showing them into the house. The only ones seeming not to be tense and awkward were the twins. They had no knowledge of the underlying meaning of this trip and as such simply saw this as another trip to grandma and grandpa's house. Once in the living room, her father's echo of her mother's question caused Nadya to have to bite her tongue. She was an adult and could do what she wanted with her hair without being questioned on it. Instead Nadya offered up introductions between her parents and her boyfriend.

At Frost's cordial reply, Robert gruffed softly, "We haven't heard much about you." "Robert." Cynthia admonished to which he only opened his hands in a raise of his shoulders. "What? And what kind of a name is Frost?" "Robert!" "Dad!" Robert gruffed more and folded his arms across his chest. Nadya could only pinch the bridge of her nose for a moment. "It's a moniker, no different than when you called me Peanut." That seemed to soften the viking a little bit, his gaze leaving that stare on Frost to look to his adopted daughter. "Fine." Robert mumbled and jabbed a thumb at the hallway leading further into the house before he bent to scoop up his little granddaughter into his big arms. "Your brothers are in the backyard. Are you going to say hi to them before you run off to wherever it is your going? You haven't said how long you'll be gone either."

Nadya had omitted the destination of her trip with Frost and also a return date. It had left a small pit in her stomach as there always a possibility of her not returning. Even if they did make it through this, Frost had been unsure how long their roundabout return trip would take. The young mother offered a small though weak smile. "I should go say hi." She dodged the question, grabbing Frost's hand and tugging him down the hallway towards the back sliding door.

With a sigh Nadya stood on the back patio looking out at her brother. Of course they were in their Were form sparing. Her dad must of told them she was bringing a boy over. Typical. "Liam! Ethan!" She shouted over the growls and tussling causing the pair to cease and turn their attention on the couple. Now she had the attention of two massive ligers, though one still slightly larger than the other indicating difference in age. Nadya gave Frost's hand a reassuring squeeze as the felines padded over, shifting to their human forms before reaching the couple. Both boys took after their dad, though with an added bulk to their frames from the growth gene that seemed to bleed over from their feline form. "Frost, this is Liam, my older brother, and Ethan, my younger brother." "I'll be 18 in a few months!" Interjected Ethan. Liam nodded in acknowledgement as he pulled on his pants while Ethan gave a boyish lop of a grin eyeing Frost's hair. "Cool hair dude." Despite Ethan being younger he still dwarfed Nadya at over 6', just shy of matching his brother's height.

The smile from Nadya was relaxed and genuine now as she eagerly hugged her younger brother who playfully squeezed and swung her about in a circle. Liam rolled his eyes at the pair before glancing back to Frost, offering his hand for a shake. "Nice to meet you. Let's keep it that way, hmm?" It was his only warning as a big brother to be good to his sister.
