South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

As a rather large predator, that could fluctuate her size to that of a bear, she wasn't afraid of her fellow Were's. With one swipe of her massive paw she could easily knock them out. It was rare for her to be in such a large form that she hardly changed to it, but should she be given a reason she wouldn't hold herself back. Because she had no reason to fear her own kind she was content with sleeping out in the open. Her form was quite relaxed. Her ebony pelt picking up the rays of the sun feeling all warm on top of her rock. She was content and she was at ease and she was fast asleep now. She was unaware that Alexis would be nearby. The fox-girl was far too clever and stealthy, it was her power and that alone, kept her from be detected. Her mind was focused more on the nightmare that was spawning in her head. Once more she was lying inside her cage, cowering as some members of her pack circled snapping their teeth at here. She knew she was safe. The bars kept her away from them, but she knew that once they unlocked the cage, her protective four walls would be nothing but 3 walls entrapping her. With an open door in her cage they could easily attack her, as she attempted to get out and flee. But she would risk safety and take the bites and scratches than stay within the cage that could no longer keep them out. As soon as the sound of the lock unlatching reached her ears she would jump forward feeling the sharp teeth tear into her shoulders. Yet in reality, it was not teeth tearing her shoulders, rather it was the foxes' paws pressing down. With a yelp the wolf woke up in shock, scrambling to get on all fours and falling down the rock and into the creek.

With a splash she felt into the creek on her back, blue-grey eyes open widely from shock. Rolling onto her grey paws her head would lift upwards searching for her assailant when she saw the familiar scarlet fox, with the black streaks running down her side, yipping with jest. Black lips pulled back to show off her sharp teeth in what she assumed was a friendly gesture, as that menacing grin widen. Shaking the water out from her fur she would leap out of the creek bellowing a playful bark, her own fluffy grey and black tail swaying side to side. As the fox bowed down to the ground for play, she couldn't help herself but mimic the gesture. It was something she was rarely able to do and it felt unusual, but very right. Closing her eyes the wolf would change twice her size, but in a smaller manner. Perhaps the fox girl was always the smallest Were, but for now, she would take on that role. The wolf was the size of a small dog, her head raised upwards to look up at the Fox now. With a sprint she would charge towards the Fox pouncing to her left and right, not touching the girl, but instigating the girl for a chase. Turning around she would head for the woods, running as fast as her little grey paws could take her. Ducking over the fallen logs and running through the thick bushes barking with joy as she raced for another small clearing over the hill. Every now and then she would turn her ebony head around looking for the other, quite excited to having some fun for a change.
