South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
Usually, the young witch preferred to keep her cards close to her chest. She kept her own personal life private, her affairs with others perhaps even more so. And yet, there was something about the Dark Hunter across from her that made her drop her guard. It was that peculiar bond within their past that so coaxed to Serafina to speak of things that even she was all too aware she should disclose with only the most careful discretion. She had been naive to think that their relationship could pick up where it had left off. It was a fact that she was reminded of the moment she saw the befuddlement and rigidity that filled her companion's form. Her lips pressed together ever so slightly though the young woman knew all too well that she couldn't simply take back the words she should't have said. The girl's eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly, her stormy blue gaze intently settled on the woman in front of her if only to watch as the Dark Hunter attempted to process the information she was given. Thankfully, Tamzin hardly pressed her much further on the topic, instead offering only the smallest of sighs and another sip of her cold intoxicating tonic.

What the young witch hadn't expected, however, were those two simple words that fell from the hunter's lips - words she hadn't heard in quite some time. It had been quite some time since the female had danced, at least in the salacious fashion that they had once so eagerly done when they were younger. Back then their bodies had rolled with a melodic ease as the two girls attempted to appear far older then they were in actuality. They had managed to succeed on a number of occasions though more often then not it landed them in more trouble then they had anticipated. A small simper curved it's way across her sweet heart lips and firmly the woman nodded, sliding from the booth only to have her fingertips embraced by her companion as she was led onto the dance floor.

Serafina was hardly perturbed by the bodies that moved around herself and her friend, her hips immediately beginning to sway to the beat of the music as it throbbed around them. Her steely blue gaze was steadfast upon the hunter in front of her, noting the still rigid posture of the female in front of her. Her sentimental words brought a simper to the young woman's face, her sweet heart lips beaming with glee. "I've missed you too, Tam." She responded, entirely sincere. She watched in silence as her companion closed her eyes, quite clearly dealing with some inner thought that lingered heavily upon the forefront of her brain. Never the less, Serafina hardly pressed the issue - knowing all too well that Tamzin would speak the thought when she was ready to do so. Thankfully, the witch hardly had to wait long before her companion admitted to the perhaps irrational but lingering uncertainty at the simple memory of that night. Serafina shook her head ever so slightly, hardly hesitant as she reached out to place her hands lightly on the waist of her companion - quite literally pushing the female's body into the movement. "It will come back to you easily, it's like riding a bike." She pivoted, letting her back press against Tamzin's chest, her arms slowly rising in the air as her body continued to move with the same fluidity they'd once so lackadaisically summoned. For a moment, Serafina could almost fool herself into believing she was right back in those yesteryears.
