South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

There was a natural sort of ease to the way his knife so cleanly cut through the tough flesh of the potatoes he'd pluck from deep within the refrigerator. It was calming in a peculiar fashion, especially as the sun begun to dip beneath the horizon in the world just outside his apartment's glass windows. Sterling glanced up, his crystalline blue eyes momentarily eying the darkness with a sort of weariness he tried not to show his guest. His gaze shifted only by the soft gulp of satisfaction at the cool beverage he'd handed his companion, a warm simper crossing his masculine features. It was by far one of the more enjoyable bits of his newfound hobby - that look of sheer pleasure when a feast came out well. If the simple taste of the alcohol was able to produce such a response from Henry, Sterling had to admit the tinge of excitement that fluttered within him at actually feeding the poor man. Vaguely, he wondered how long it had been since the poor fellow had eaten to begin with. The thought of such was quite nearly depressing, the poor fellow. No home, no where to go, no friends to search for. It was enough that his thoughts begun to wander towards just how he could help the fellow on that very task, after all picking up the pieces of one's life was hard enough. Doing it alone was even harder - he knew it from first hand experience.

Soon enough, however, Sterling found himself glancing up with an idea - one that even Henry had to admit might prove beneficial. His head bobbed ever so slightly in agreement when his companion suggested that he'd visit them tomorrow. The boy momentarily glanced at the change that Henry had placed upon his counter and yet all he could do was press his lips together ever so slightly, "I think, right now, you need that money more then I do Henry. Keep it. Please." His voice was soft, tender even. After all the change would hardly be enough to cover even the potatoes that made up their side dish but it might be enough to get something from a vending machine if the man was ever in dire need. At least Sterling still had a stash of savings to live off of until he found a stable job within the city.

Sterling was in the process of plating the pair's dinner when Henry spoke up again. He hardly looked up as he placed the steak beside the mashed potatoes and green beans, instead gesturing with the top of his fork towards the couch in the living room behind them. "I would advise against the cheap motels here. They're not very fond of 'I owe yous' and you're more likely to be murdered then get through the night." He commented, remembering well his first stay within the city - from the vampire owner to the loud music in the room ned door to the shady woman who had attempted to pick him up with the promise that she'd give him eternal life if he just let her bite him a little. Vaguely, he wondered if his companion even knew of the supernatural that stalked the city's darkness - but, perhaps that was a matter for another time. Gingerly, Sterling placed the full plate in front of his companion, settling beside him with his own dish. "Look - I know that we don't really know each other but...I'd liked to help you get back on your feet at the very least. I'm sure that there's someone out there that's really worried about you Henry and I'd like to at least make sure you get back to them safe and sound." He nodded firmly, as if the boy was entirely unwilling to take no for an answer.
