South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

I don't know where to begin now that I'm back. I know I would like to tie up loose ends and get some sort of closure with Raven. Even we'll become friends again or decide never to speak to each other again. Either way, this awkward stuff between us needs to end. Mostly, I just want to know that she's okay. I haven't seen her since Frost threw her around like a ragdoll and I need to know she's okay. I still remember his threat vividly where he told me he would hurt everyone I hold dear if I didn't join him. I hope he never thought to go back on that threat. What kind of person does that? He's so manipulative.

And Alexander, I must see him again. I know that we can never be anything other than boss and employee. I need the job and I know I can do that one without much training. It would be a lie to say I don't want to be close to the hunter as well. At the same time, I know I must hide my story from him. He mustn't know what I did while I was gone. He would never understand. He's a hunter. He would kill me.

Being a fox is simple, uncomplicated. You eat, sleep, steal when it's necessary. I can do all those things. I could have made it in the fox world easily but the human world is just so fascinating that I couldn't stay away from civilization. At least it doesn't mean I have to completely forsake my Were side. And I'm not alone, it would seem. I had met another fox once, Calliel. We hid together in a den and I healed her wounds. But since that day, I never saw her again and I've wondered what became of her. I hope she's well. This fox is not a fox such as we are. She is different, a different breed of fox. Her ears are much larger and she's even smaller than I am. I didn't think that possible. The way she looks at me is hard to read, like she doesn't know me, of course, but she doesn't really look afraid either. Maybe I was the only timid fox around here.

At my questioning greeting, she calls back to me, her voice more confident. My tail wags. "I'm Alexis. I didn't know there were other Werefoxes around here. Are you alone?" I look around in curiosity, wondering if perhaps she knows Calliel or is friends with her. Is there another fox pack around here? Are they friendly? But as I get closer to her, I catch the telltale whiff on her fur and I stop in my tracks, ears folding back some. "Do you know....Frost?" The name flows from my mind to hers with all the confused sounds that come with it. I don't know quite how I feel about the WereHorse, not even now. I can still close my eyes and picture that day, the day he made me kill a hunter and then the day he beat my best friend to a pulp right in front of me. But I also remember the day he took me in and gave me food and trained me. He put a blanket over me when I fell asleep in the hall. I don't know how to feel about him even if I tried.
