West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He should have known, truly, that any mention of shopping would attract the woman's attention. That single word seemed to possess the ability to ensnare almost any woman's focus and yet Frost was entirely content to hold up such an end to this deal. He had hardly found anything nearly suitable enough within her wardrobe to pack for her and as such she would be required to actually purchase an evening gown or cocktail dress or something of suitable merit if they had any hope of finding their way into tonight's invitational event. Shopping, on this occasion, was a necessity, not merely a pleasure. Along with abducting his credit card back from her, Edie decidedly good at maintaining her hold upon it. Such thoughts however, are ended as her lips brush against his cheek, her counter offered whispered almost sensually within his ear and Frost offers no outward reply just yet. For now he merely stores such information within the confines of his mind along with her demand he need make up for the gala event. Her apparent jealousy that evening had hardly gone unnoticed, indeed the potency of it had very near taken the man off guard and yet truly he saw little need to address it.

A little jealousy never hurt anyone and yet that such feelings existed within the woman were of a certain curiosity to him all the same. She had a boyfriend- one whom very rarely ever left his own house and yet one he tolerated for the pleasure it seemed to bring his companion. A small gesture on his part perhaps and yet truly the stallion is hardly known for any emotional displays in any fashion. He tolerated Kato- because Edie desired it. The man was otherwise of no use to him. Still, he finds his mind almost inclined to consider how easy it might be to lure Edie from her male companion, to coax her to his own side in a more intimate fashion, the way she so easily took up even the smallest act of flirtation from him almost endearing to the man and yet for now at least he allows such thoughts to slide. There was little to be achieved, he supposed, from merely testing the loyalty of Edie to Kato simply because he desired too.

It is only once they are nestled easily within the comfort of their seats that the man makes any effort to return to business, one violet eye lingering upon the woman beside him as she peruses the drinks menu with further intent of spending his money- assuring him he was off to a good start, her mention of the penthouse suite earning the softest of snorts from the often emotionally devoid man before she mentioned her own talents of persuasion. A simper ghosting upon his lips as one violet eye regards her now.

"It is my intention that your talents will be afforded every chance to shine."

He responds smoothly, frosted lyrics soft and offered to the woman alone. With his own affinity in play, alone with her skills, the man was entirely assured there was little that could be done to prevent their heist. Edie need only maintain her nerve and whatever persona it was she chose to employ for the evening long enough to empty the coffers of the casino he had selected- the man intending to be well away from the facility long before their ploy was uncovered. It was a larger target then he might normally have chosen and yet with Edie's assistance he sees little need to limit himself to the small purse the casinos of the city they were leaving behind might offer him.

"As for this notion of fifty fifty though I find that a little....steep. I will be doing most of the work tonight. I am also paying for most of this weekend and I have been paying the excessive food bills wrecked up by your bottomless pit of a boyfriend, do not think, Edie, that I am unaware of just how much he eats while contributing nothing to the pack itself outside of your pleasure. Sixty-forty and that is being generous on my end."

He pauses once more, affording her the chance to further debate his offer. Frost, after all, is almost given to enjoy such things, precious few within the world entirely capable of encouraging any real use of his intellect and indeed there a part of himself that takes a certain pleasure from engaging with his Beta in such a fashion. Even if he holds every intention of winning the argument. Besides- how was she to know how much money they acquired all the same, she would merely be forced to trust the money he offered her at the end was entirely as much as she was entitled to and as such the stallions remains assured her position affords her truly little room to negotiate. Though he enjoys her efforts all the same.

"As for your earlier mention of the gala I hardly abandoned you, I required a little time to speak with Nadya, something I am assured is my right to be afforded. You merely choose to act out by terrifying a fairy. Yes, I know about that- though I suppose you are forgiven. I am a merciful Alpha."

His lip quirks, if only ever so slightly, that faintest of teases touching his words- a truly unusual thing for the man, his sense of humour often decidedly dry and yet truly of her actions at the gala Frost found himself hardly concerned. There was little need for Edie to feel any threat from Nadya and yet if the woman chose to it was by her own doing. She alone would come to terms with such a thing in her own time. Here and now was far more about.....enjoyment then the politics of pack.

"I saw briefly into that fairy's mind that night- did you truly pin him to the ground that day I asked you to distract him? I am impressed."

A chuckle rises within his throat before the air hostess appears, Frost gesturing loosely for Edie to order as she saw fit before returning them to business.

"It is my intention, tonight, to have you use your feminine charm and skills of persuasion to incline the other players to believe whatever it is we need them to believe of you and the hand you have. You hardly need a poker face when you possess the persuasion skills you have. I merely intend to combine mind reading and illusion to assure we always have a winning hand, peppered perhaps with the occasional loss- if only to make our ruse a little more believable."
