West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

That infectious sound of her feminine giggle had a way of producing a simper across the man's usually stoic features as he watched her so coyly tease her hair around her slender finger. He was entirely assured that she hadn't the faintest idea of how beautifully intoxicating she looked, with that simple action that was so distinctly womanly, that purr to her voice wholly coaxing the man with an all too blatant desire. She was entirely distracting, of that he had little doubt, his desire to so end the job he'd been tasked to seemed vastly less interesting with each moment that passed. In truth, Alexander had not been wholly dedicated to his charge in the first place, often letting him run and get away with vastly more then he would have had at the top of his game. He had been bored, he had been toying with his victim and yet, now that she had stepped into his world, whatever enjoyment he'd taken from the hunt had disappeared for a far more physical desire of intimacy. It was nearly a shame that she had reminded him of that wounded man he'd so fell but moment's earlier. For all of Alexander's sometimes callous nature when it so came to battle and death, it wasn't like him to so let other's suffer, even he was far more tender hearted then that.

Still, that momentary concern for his quarry was easily overshadowed by the motion of that singular finger, so coaxing him with an easily understood 'come hither'. The Macedonian King was far too willing to give into that singular woman's demands, so softly uttering with a look all too smoldering that he was willing enough to so ensure all of her needs were met. That kiss that so followed in the wake of that simple sentence seemed entirely, natural to the man, the Hunter all too eager to indulge in it for as long as he could before that sense of duty so saw him break away from her. Despite this, Alexander's fingers reached up for her's, intertwining within her own as he led her out of that alleyway and into the one that ran parallel to their own. His blue-green eyes fell nearly immediately upon that crimson trail that so ran down the length of that alleyway, drifting up the nearby wall to where it had started. He had anticipated to find the creature curled up, nursing it's wounds or hobbling in some effort to escape, this disappearing act entirely unexpected and yet - he could feel it nearby.

His lips parted, a soft sound of consideration so existing upon them and yet, he hardly had a moment to react before his head tilted to the side in an entirely inquisitive fashion. He could see it as Alexis' shield suddenly rushed into existence to so embrace them, his own affinity so flaring to life within those moments to offer him a veritable plethora of information as that sound of something colliding into it so drew his attention. He watched as that shield so expanded to throw the animal back into the wall of the alleyway. He knew it surely must have hurt, just as he knew now was certainly his opportunity to strike and yet, his hand only raised with inquisitiveness to so tap lightly on that nearly invisible shift of the air around them. "That's....useful." He muttered, more to himself then really to the girl at his side. In truth, he perhaps would have liked more time to so study what she was capable of with that singular affinity and yet, he knew well there was a boundary between lover and commander, one that he threatened to cross with that interest within her abilities. It was that which caused the man to tear himself away from his inspection of that shield. Instead, he moved around it, letting that dagger he had previously called to his whims fly from his fingertips. That dagger collided into the creature's flank, furthering that crippling of his legs.

His approached the animal, his fingertips reaching out to brush across the animal's skin. "Tell me of your pack." He commented, letting those blue-green eyes close as the animal's thoughts so filtered through his own mind. He could feel the animal's panic, he heard those muttered curses, he felt the reaching of his mind to his pack. It was so easy to find them all, even if the elk had scare an idea of what he was doing. A small frown crossed his lips, a small sharpened arrow appearing within his fingertips as he grasped the creature's antlers, holding them firmly before that arrow forcefully and quickly entered the creature's body, so done with the steadfastness to ensure it died nearly instantly, those thoughts disappearing just as quickly. Alexander's eyes fluttered open as he slowly, rose, glancing down at the creature before commenting softly, "One down...four to go." His list, after all, had only just made a dent in it and yet, he hardly wished to drag the woman he knew was standing behind him through that eradication of that pack. Instead, he turned his back towards the now dead deer, instead presenting the woman with a small smile. "I'm sorry for getting you involved in this." He commented as word of apology, stepping closer towards her. "I hope you're still not opposed to our evening together?" After all, he remembered well she was a delicate creature and he had just asked her to watch him murder someone in front of her. Hopefully it didn't change anything of those desires that had filled her but moment's prior.
