West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

While everyone around me is jokingly screeching 'Happy St. Paddy's Day,' I am mentally saying 'Happy Birthday to me.' Not that anyone would care. My parents were, if they were alive, but they're dead. You would think my Great Uncle would care, but it's been a year and half since I last saw him. I haven't heard from him since I left to go with Frost. I'm partly to blame for that. I mean, I could have gone back to him, but I'm not sure if he would really want around. I'm tainted. Thanks to an accident, well, maybe it was an accident â€" who really knows. I'm 21 now. Which means I am not only officially an adult, but that I am allowed to go anywhere and everywhere I please. No longer am I some 'kid.' Now I'm allowed to walk up to a bar and legally drink alcohol. To some that seemed special, but to me it really isn't that big of a deal. Oooooo lookie, I get to drink an elixir that was made through the fermentation process. It's simple chemistry really and to think, laws dictate by a certain age you're allowed to consume yeast that was broken down into sugar and carbon dioxide. I mean at age 18 you are allowed to suck down a cancer stick, but heaven forbid you drink the 'hard stuff.' If I was back in old pack, maybe we would have celebrated I don't know...no one was really around. I could have told my coworkers and boss about my birthday, but it didn't feel right. I could have told Anastasia, but I haven't seen her in a very long time. Heck, I never got to tell the red raccoon I had met in the South. I know this particular pinnacle moment of my life was meant to be celebrated by friends, society says I should get wasted and enjoy the excuse of drinking until my liver can take no more without ridicule judgement. So, what's a young girl like me supposed to do? It's St. Patrick's Day which gave everyone the excuse to drink and it's my birthday, I couldn't stay inside at the barn with my equine friends. I gotta do something fun, and so I will.

Before I left my creator I learned that there was another pack on the other side of town. I never really thought much of them. I didn't really know anything about them. I learned through the grapevine that they owned some placed called 'The Ark, and I have to say I thought that they were a very religious group. I mean, what kind of pack lives in a place called 'The Ark'? Well, apparently a pack named after a poisonous plant. I visited the Ark and as shockingly surprised that it was essentially a fight club. Yea, that's right a fight club â€" what's the first rule about fight club...don't talk about the fight club. I was a new Were so of course I wouldn't dare stick my neck in the ring, it was mostly predator creatures and sadly I was a prey animal, with saucer size dinner-plate feet. While in the Ark I learned everything that was going on in the Were world, and thank God I did. It helped, a lot. What I didn't expect was to learn about my creator and just what his relationship was with the pack. I felt guilty, but knowing he harmed members of this pack wasn't the reason why I left. I left because I felt like I was being used, and well...I don't like that...not one bit. That and I felt he was putting us all in danger with his actions. I'm young. I'm a new Were. I don't necessarily want to start a fight with any other Were, and if my Alpha wasn't going to keep me safe then what chance did I have? So, here I am standing here along the docks with the Ark right in front of me. I heard rumors that my particular sub-species was not welcomed. Which I think is crazy. Well, I wanted to have some fun right? I guess sneaking into a place I was not allowed could be considered 'fun.' I know how I'm going to do it and I am thankful that I have some tricks up my sleeve. I may not be good at shifting, but I was very focused on trying to get my magical skills in order.

Oh look a group of Weres are walking past me, let me just slide myself to the back of their group. Quietly I walk keeping my head low, and keeping close to them. Of course they don't focus on me, I can already smell the scent of alcohol upon them. As we walk up the plank I see this little short Mexican fella and I hear someone say hello and call him Jackal. Jackal is a canine...which means he could sniff me out. Perfect! As we get closer I focus upon his nose trying to manipulate his senses to not work faintly, wanting him to not catch my scent. I've been practicing on patrons that come to the café where I work, trying to manipulate their senses. Thank goodness that practicing paid off, because I finally made it in. Success! Casually I break away from the group, quietly moving through the crowd until I make it to a table a bit further from the ring. There's only one chair, which is good, cause I mean I don't really need to sit with anyone, I'm okay on my own. Although really, my particular species doesn't like being alone, and it's been a struggle to deal with. It was kind enough that a waitress with cat ears came by and asked for my order, I really just wanted water, but what the hell I'm turning 21 and I deserve a drink to celebrate! When she brings me a tall Russian, I know I should have gotten something Irish themed but hey â€" it's my Birthday â€" I'll get what I want, I happily take a sip and focus on the fighting ring. Well, here I am. I snuck into the pack my creator dislikes passionately, in a place where my kind is forbidden, and watching a fight. Yeppers, look at me I'm having fun! Although why am I not feeling satisfied? Maybe this is a lower quality of vodka, damn.
