East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

A small, weak simper crossed the young woman's lips as the man before her suggested that she might have worthwhile events to look back upon, ones worth transcribing upon ivory lined pages. Chizue doubted sincerely that she might be a legend - still, it may be nice, she decided, to write of all the things she learned in those books she cherished or those few rare souls she met. They were surely worth remembering - they might be nice to reminisce over when she was left alone once more as she so often found herself. Maybe, tomorrow evening, the girl would venture downtown to find some sort of stationery shoppe that might hold a journal that appealed to her. Any further thoughts of adorable stationary were quickly forgotten, however, by that cult that so stalked that auburn haired woman she so faithfully served. Chizue could hardly help the look of doubt that crossed her features - the girl had never been terribly good at hiding her emotions, even if she was too polite to speak of them the majority of the time. That insistence that Isolt could hardly meet their prophesy fell flatly from her lips and yet, the young woman listened all too intentively to Damon as he nodded quite firmly in response.

A frown was etched within her features as he spoke of the research they had done and too his insistence that it was undoubtedly her coven leader they were after. Her eyebrows furrowed in quiet contemplation as she commented softly that she could assist by perhaps looking in her treasured books - after all, they had always held some sort of answer for her. Surely in this they would not let her down. Unfortunately, those words had no sooner left her lips before she was declined, Damon insisting instead that he had already done so and that any truth of the cult was but within the walls of that very place they inhabited. That frown upon Chizue's lips only deepened, her brows furrowed further before the girl glanced up at the man before her. "What...what would you like me to do?" She inquired simply, wholly uncertain of what role he wished her to play if that research he had requested from her but moments ago had already been done. Even if she doubted the feasibility of Isolt bringing in any child to the world, if they believed it, she supposed perhaps it was best to be safe than sorry.

He head tilted ever so inquisitively to the side before the girl inquired in a thoughtful manner, after all, she could but guess where as he had seen the true text. Perhaps that idea that toyed with her mind was insubstantial but, it was perhaps worth the suggestion. "Is it...Damon, is it possible that rather than birthing a child, Isolt instead turns one? The distinction between child and maker and child and mother might not have been...wholly clear...to them?" It was perhaps the best she could offer, one that might account for that impossibility and yet, she supposed the meticulous details of that hardly mattered as much as the fact that, regardless, their Supreme was still in danger. A soft sigh left her lips though really she felt quite hopeless in this whole endeavor. After all, it seemed as if Damon had the situation entirely under control in comparison to what she might be capable of. That thought of the cult still lingered upon her mind even as the man before her showed her the ring he intended to gift their mutual acquaintance and yet, Chizue was quick to insist that Isolt would surely love it. Vintage seemed quite like the woman's style, regardless of her young age.

Her own life updates, however, seemed to catch the man off guard as she spoke so candidly of that hunter she had befriended. The girl insisted she would remain safe and yet, it seemed it was that mention of sharing that townhouse with Isolt that saw her momentarily falter as an entirely different realization settled upon her. She hardly voiced that knowledge of what would surely come, however, her chocolate eyes instead glancing upwards at the man as he offered her a warm chuckle. Quickly Chizue shook her head, "Oh, no, it's nothing like that." She insisted. After all, in truth, there had been particularly little 'girl time'. With Red on the Water booming, the coven's sudden growth, and Damon's return, Isolt had certainly had enough to keep herself entirely busy. Chizue understood, of course, always willing to assist the woman any moment she might be needed - though, of late, that had been decidedly few and far between. That notion of Damon watching a pillow fight, and that mischievous glimpse to his gaze was wholly unnoticed by the truly chaste girl, her own gaze instead falling to that book within her hands.
