What You'll Find Here

Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

My Own Form of CHAOS

I can only chuckle as she says that she hasn't had as much practice as I have. I smirk lazily. "Too true. I've got almost 200 years on you. But I bet you're a natural." I wink playfully. She's easy to be affectionate with, my fingers tangling in her dark hair naturally. It's not the fire red of Isolt's lustrous locks but I've grown fond of the Weregirl in the short time we've been together. Maybe after tonight, she'll pretend she doesn't know me or even turn against me but that's okay. No matter what happens after this night, we'll still have this night to look back on. I wonder vaguely how her and Isolt would get along. I know with my girlfriend's sweet nature, she would instantly try to befriend her but how long would it last if Isolt found out I had drank from her and then her from me? Some vampires consider feeding to be an intimate thing, something for food or lovers. I've always had a gray area between the black and white but maybe that's because I always liked to play with my food in the past. Either way, a part of me wonders if Isolt would be jealous. I bet it's a good color on her since I'm usually the jealous one.

She mumbles something about being stronger as she hits the ground and I chuckle lightly as I help her up, assuring her that it takes a few minutes to adjust but it will get better. What I didn't tell her is that I've watched Were's spin circles and do cartwheels in the yard for hours after drinking a vampire's blood before they start to calm down. I think that depends on the potency and age of the blood you're drinking though and I assure you that there are older vampires in Sacrosanct over me. She can handle this, right? She takes my arm as she sways and I try to keep the twinkle from showing too much in my eyes as I lead her to the car. As I adjust the mirror and start the engine, I can see her fingers flitting over the leather beside me and when she compliments the car, I smile and nod. "It is. I've put a lot of money into it but it's well worth it." Just seeing Isolt's eyes light up every time she sees it makes it worth it. She teases at me about safety before doing her seatbelt and I smirk as I put the car in first and take off.

I grin. "I might just release you from that contraption once we get where we're going. That is, if you behave." I wiggle my eyebrows at her playfully as I turn down the roads and guide us further into the downtown section of Sacrosanct, where all the smaller bars and clubs are, the lesser known and backstreets of the city. I don't know how she feels about her boyfriend finding out about her being out with a vampire so I figured I'd be safe and show her some of the more secret places in Sacrosanct where there's less risk of someone seeing us who shouldn't. I chuckle again when she assures me that she's always ready to party and I turn to smirk at her as I zoom into a parking spot and turn off the car. "Good because we're here. First stop of the night." I get out and walk around, easily leaning over her to unbuckle her seatbelt before I pick her up bride-style and gently place her feet on the concrete outside. I step back a moment to take in her attire. "You sure you're party-worthy or should I buy you new threads first?" I ask thoughtfully.
