What You'll Find Here

Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It was turning out that there were very few reasons that the Faerie Queen would leave her apartment these days. If she wasn't holed up in the safety of her own place, she was at the Ark within those steel walls with the one person in the world that would keep her safe - even if she was too scared to tell him what it was that was bothering her exactly. And though she wanted to spend all of her time within Aiden's bed, she couldn't deny that he was likely getting sick of her. She distracted him from work, from the fighting rings, from his pack. So, even though she had wanted so desperately to stay at the Ark, she'd thrown her clothes into her bag and made the trek home early that morning. She had been almost thrilled to go home and see Dorian, at least until she went home and found Dorian nowhere to be found. Ah, another day that he would sleep over at his boyfriend's. She was glad he was happy, even if she missed him.

It had only taken two hours before she had grown so bored of watching television that it had driven her out of that apartment and into the streets of Sacrosanct. For that single moment, she wasn't the Faerie Queen that was too paranoid to sleep at night. For a moment, she was that sixteen year old girl living on the Upper East Side who simply wanted to have some fun. And just as she had as a teenager, she'd began her walk back home with bags full of fabrics. She'd always loved sewing. It had always been the one way that she'd been able to unwind. Just her and her sewing machine. It would be the perfect way to take out some of the frustration she was having towards herself at the moment. Yes, that would be how she would spend her afternoon, and that alone was enough to bring a smile to her features.

She'd just come around the corner to her street, a smile on her features as she walked, when she paused mid-step. There was a figure outside her apartment building. For a moment, it felt as though her heart had flung itself up into her lungs. But then her breathing slowed as she took a better look at the white-haired individual that was pacing in front of her building. She paused about ten feet from the girl, tilting her head to the side. "Vhalla?" She hadn't made plans with the girl today, so she was entirely surprised to see her. And yet, she couldn't help the smile that appeared on her features. It was only when she got even closer that she noticed the overwhelming nervousness that came over the girl. "Vhal, what's wrong?" She reached out to her friend, her hand brushing across Vhalla's arm. It was only that touch that called to her most recent talent, the flashes of what was bothering the girl crossing her mind. Instantly, the girl couldn't help the smile that crossed her features.

"Oh my god, Vhal. Do you have a date?" She didn't wait for a response, the visions of the handsome boy on the forefront of her mind. It was only then that she took in the girl's outfit and demeanor. "Come on, let's get you dressed in something cute." She didn't wait for an answer as she tugged the girl inside and up the stairs to her apartment. She ditched the bags at the door before she quite literally pushed the girl all the way up to her bedroom. "Sit, I'll find you an outfit."
