Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellington

I thought you knew I was filthy rich
I thought you knew I never answer my phone
I thought you knew I was a late night with a bad bite I thought you knew.

For all that Sebastian had planned for tonight, the elder vampire found himself entirely...collected. He knew well that there was every chance Arlo might say no, once he knew the full extent of what the Englishman was asking of him and yet, there was a certain level of determination that infected every aspect of his actions tonight. He was a man on a mission and though he suspected Arlo would have his doubts, surely the blood that ran through his veins and the offer he intended to provide would be enough to offset the downsides. After all, he knew well what he would do for the blood that had been perfectly flavored for his particular taste buds. It just so happened that said blood also happened to belong to the very man he would willingly protect with his very life. It was, perhaps, that reassurance in which he provided himself as he made his way through to those far more dilapidated neighborhood with particularly expensive musical equipment under his arms. It seemed that assassination attempt had hardly affected the vampire's courage in the slightest. He hardly considered the assault or theft he was near welcoming with such a blatant display of some sort of wealth.

Thankfully, soon enough, Sebastian found himself standing in front of a rather unassuming door in an equally as meager apartment building. His gaze trailed down those hallways as he knocked on that door, the man simply waiting for his companion whilst entirely judging that very complex he found himself within. It wasn't until the sound of that lock that his attention abruptly turned back towards that youthful vampire, the Englishman entirely bold as he pushed those pieces of equipment in Arlo's arms, hefting that piano up and into his grasp as he made his way into that apartment. He was, perhaps, being rather demanding in his requests for Arlo to take those pieces of furniture and the way in which he so easily swept into that room only to place that box upon the dining room table and yet, that very demeanor could wholly be attributed to how use he was to running those many estates filled with those servants that rarely questioned him. That resolve had a way of pulling out those attributes within him of his own peerage.

Eventually, however, his gaze turned towards Arlo, stating that he had a deal of sorts for him. His bright blue eyes ever so inquisitively watched that near guarded way in which Arlo regarded him, the vampire's entirely stance closed off, that notion that he might be charged for simply giving the man the keyboard cause his eyebrow to raise and yet, after a moment, he simply shrugged. After all, his companion scarcely knew this very piece of equipment might soon become his. Not yet. Rather, his gaze darted around that apartment, suggesting in a tone that was entirely teasing in an effort to so lift that mood. "Are you sure, it looks like you could use the furniture." He paused to lift that piano from the box, pulling it free of that styrofoam onto to continue with that very thing he knew well should sway his companion - the prospect of blood. That sudden movement caused his gaze to shift upwards towards the man, the corner of his lips tilted upwards in the smallest of smirks. Hook, line, and sinker. He watched as Arlo shifted from the couch only to join him at the table, the Englishman took that simple gesture as a sign to continue and, in turn, the man willingly offered that very keyboard that currently rested beneath his long, slender fingers.

The vampire watched his companion as Arlo so exclaimed that song writing had, once upon a time, been something he had been very much accustomed to, the news itself hardly surprising. After all, the man had spoken with such...familiarity of the business the first time the pair had met. Even so, Sebastian himself had composed a piece or two within his own time, the man entirely confident within his ability to reign his companion in if those skills were far more lackluster then he seemed to suggest. It was the mention of that keyboard, however, that drew his gaze down back towards the object in question, his head bobbing ever so slightly. "I did. I couldn't very well bring my grand to you." He stated simply, as if that very fact was near obvious. Even so, it was the inquiry of that catch that saw the vampire falter, the man pausing ever so slightly before he spoke of that ability that produced a sort of...worry within him, even if it was that very power that had brought him to Arlo's doorstep in the first place. He needed someone to feel those notes, someone who could assist in him in capturing those very emotions. Arlo was, perhaps, uniquely qualified for this task.

That small curl of distaste to Arlo's lips hardly went unnoticed by the Englishman and yet, the fellow hardly seemed to question that declaration in the slightest. Rather, it seemed that display of his abilities to so affect the lust others had made him whole heartedly believe within his capability to inflict love upon another. He hardly expected that groan that left Arlo's lips and yet, that warm simper once again settled upon his features as the man willingly gave in, those offers far too great to deny. "Tonight." He commented simply enough at that inquiry, his veins certainly filled with that very life force that existed within that fae King. He had little concern that Arlo would be left wanting tonight, oh no, the young vampire would be certainly far more sedated than he would be by the end of the evening. Even so, he could hardly help that near smirk upon his features at the declaration of how utterly, delicious he smelled. Were it not for his otherwise taken relationship status, the man might have been inclined to flaunt that very scent. In fact, that very urge explained some of Dorian's own behavior, he was sure.

With that deal made, Sebastian was wholly content to finish setting up that keyboard, the piano placed upon that stand and moved towards the wall near the sofa. He moved back towards that kitchen table to grab that folded up bench as Arlo flopped on the sofa, those inquiries hardly unexpected and yet, rather than name off those very notes from those first four measures, Sebastian was vastly more inclined to simply toss his own notebook at his companion. The hardback book was meticulously lined for that musical composition and yet, every single page within it was blank except for that first one with that nameless song and the beginning he'd crafted whilst sitting in that empty ballroom within his manor. It took a little bit of juggling those cords in that outlet before Sebastian seated himself before that keyboard, finally seeing fit to answer those altogether vital inquiries of that song he so intended to craft.

"It's a love song...for my boyfriend." He paused, his bright blue eyes shifting from that keyboard he was attempting to configure to instead eye the vampire upon the sofa. "Don't say anything, Lord knows you must have written something sappy for some girl once before." It was, after all, one of the greatest cliches in the music world. The 'falling-in-love' song to the 'i-hate-you' break up song - so much of their world held its roots in those very simple concepts. Perhaps, in that fashion, Sebastian was hardly any different. Even so, he turned his attention back towards that keyboard, his fingers lightly running over those scales till he finally got from those ivory keys a sort of sensitivity that was similar, somewhat, to that actual piano he was so used to. "I wanted something light and...flighty at the beginning, I used Staccato notes to give the feeling of those butterflies you get in your chest at the start of a relationship. When your excited and nervous to see them. I wanted those feelings to progress from that initial crush into slow feelings of love but, I need someone else to ensure it coaxes the right feelings." He was rather certain Arlo hadn't the slightest notion of exactly what his moods would be subjected to at the agreement of co-composing that very piece of music. Lust was so very different from that simple feeling of love and yet, idly, he couldn't help but to wonder if his companion had ever felt such a thing, much less if he was ready to feel those altogether intense emotions for Sebastian himself.
