Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

There was something truly blissful about that sleep. In being so nestled within the silken sheets of that royal bed and wrapped in that comfortable warmth. Even despite the sheer amount of last minute things that had been done and organised the day before the Monarch hardly found himself sleeping fitfully in any sense. That sleep had come readily, easily even, in the wake of all that bustle, the man sleeping entirely contentedly. The very fact that it was not he whom woke first today however was perhaps testament to how tired he had been the day before from all those preparations and fittings and general mania that a royal wedding seemed to cast upon his palace and court at large and yet- he rather adored it. It had been years, centuries even, since such excitement had fallen upon his court, let alone his country at large. He adored to see the very life his wedding had restored to his halls. For all the veritable stress of those last minute details and plans and the near constant wave of servants and advisors and wedding planners whom saw positively fit to fill his head with questions and choices and schedules and arrangements- a part of the Fae King simply relished in it all the same. Even when it rendered him exhausted at the end of the night.

He remained near oblivious to Sebastian's wakefulness beside him. That tender touch of fingers to his cheek prompted little more than the vaguest shift off his sleeping figure, his breath returned to that easy pattern. Sleep, it seemed, clung heavily to his figure this evening. At least until Sebastian's own form shifted closer. That cooler touch to his fiance's skin readily chasing that haze off sleep from himself and stirring him into wakefulness, those silver eyes blinking sleepily as he seemed to struggle to comprehend just where he was in those precarious first moments. That sudden, soft utterance of his name however so had a habit of stealing that lazy, sleepy grin to his lip. Sebastian's voice alone readily seeming to punctuate that haze before he felt the man's lips press to that sensitive skin off his neck. That sensation was almost ticklish as that ready chuckle hummed from within his throat, his shoulders lifting playfully in response to that feeling. Sebastian declaring it was surely time to get up as Dorian at last shifted to face him, his head resting in his hand as he made an effort to prop himself up just enough to eye the man beside him. How he had always adored to see his lover in those early hours with his hair askew and before he had made any effort to make himself presentable. Those early hours of the evening, just as those far later ones, just before the sun rose, so reserved entirely for them alone. Without but any interruption from the world. EVen if, today, that lack of interruption might prove to be desperately short lived. Sebastian's sudden query on whether or not he knew what today was so wholly reminiscent of those very words he had uttered to the man on his own birthday. Dorian making some effort to appear as if that very date took great consideration for him to place.

"I think....it is Sunday."

He uttered at last. That near impish grin dancing upon his features before his free hand lifted abruptly from that tangle of soft sheets to brush his fingers along his lovers chin. Sebastian's head tilted just so as to allow his lips to find the man's own in that singular, sweet kiss that surely held within it the very answer to that question all the same. Dorian positively assured he had been waiting for such a day as this his entire life. The Monarch so entirely sure in his decision of Sebastian, that marriage and the very future that awaited him that he hardly found himself apprehensive in any sense. Rather, he found himself a near flurry of excitement and anticipation and perhaps even accosted by a touch of nervousness at the very idea that near the entire world would have its eyes upon them today. This, by far the largest ceremony he had so ever attended let alone taken part in. He pulled softly back from Sebastian then, the vampires utterance that, shortly, Matteo would surely arrive to take him away to prepare for that ceremony prompting a playful roll of his eyes, another chuckle stirring from within his lips then as his silver gaze flickered back to the vampire.

"Do you know, I actually think he is quite excited about it all? He's been in a terribly good mood the past few days. Although I suppose if he is due to arrive shortly..."

Dorian so allowed that free hand to brush across his lovers chest then, his fingers skating softly over that cool skin and those toned, hard plains to circle almost teasingly lower, his fingers at last coming to a stop upon his fiance's hip and so tauntingly close to those more intimate parts of his companions physique. His fingers, for once however, hardly ventured any further. Dorian reluctantly abstaining from those more intimate desires with the promise of that wedding night to come. The Monarch instead stealing but another sudden kiss from the man.

".....you should probably find some pants lest you desire his critique of your...figure."

That impish grin so danced upon his lips once more, Dorian rolling easily away from Sebastian then, quite before the vampire could make any true effort to snatch him back, his own figure finally pushed from that bed. The very notion that he might not even be allowed to share breakfast with Sebastian on their wedding day was decidedly displeasing and yet, too, Dorian was well aware of those traditions all the same. The Fae instead content to make the most of whatever time he might have left to enjoy his fiance's company this morning before he was stolen away. How decidedly curious he was to see Sebastian's wedding outfit. Benito having assured him over and over that the vampire looked utterly dashing within it and yet how torturous that wondering was! His ever curious mind content to picture but all manner of delightful looks. How simply he could not wait to see it! He wandered easily toward his own wardrobe then, Dorian plucking those jeans and simple white shirt from those racks, the Monarch merely choosing that simple, comfortable attire to wear in the interim before he need change. The shirt was slid easily over his shoulders mere moments after those jeans were secured in place, his bare feet padding across that room only to halt beside that window. That soft gasp stirred from his lips.

"Bastian, look...."

That procession to the Basilica was hardly due to start for some hours and yet those streets were already lined with people, that combination of Hunter's and Police already patrolling those barriers that led from the front gates to the church itself in an effort to assure that rapidly growing crows was kept orderly. Their front gates were already positively crowded, those people beginning to fill the streets. Thousands of them already there. Even now. Before Sebastian and himself were even awake! A myriad of Italian flags waved excitedly in the night air amidst posters and banners. Dorian was readily aware of his lovers presence beside him, his fingers reaching to entwine with Sebastian's own as his gaze lingered upon those gathering crowds, the brightly lit streets (dotted all along with those outdoors heaters Sebastian had so been concerned with providing), that Basilica in the distance positively aglow.

"Even I wasn't expecting so many so soon. I think several off them even have British flags."

His free hand lifted to point to the left side of that fence, Dorian inclined to wonder whether those people had travelled all the way from England to merely stand there today, his gaze lifted once more to Sebastian then as the man stood beside him, his hand softly squeezing the man's own if only to further draw his attention from the excited crowds outside.

"How are you feeling, Mon Cher?"

He so hardly doubted Sebastian in any sense. His faith in the man so utterly irrevocable and yet too, he was so hardly unaware of the enormity of this moment, this very day. Those people whom crowded the streets below so set to become their people. Sebastian destined to not only gain a husband- but a country. Dorian assured he would be a terribly poor husband were he not to inquire as to just how the vampire felt here and now mere hours away from those very vows. His own gaze continued to linger on those streets outside, even the lamp posts having been decorated with those red and gold and black and white banners displaying their new house crest. His own griffin and Sebastian's lion holding up that shield between them. The new sigil of Italy itself and symbol of their combined house. That near nervous excitement stirring within him once more before that sudden sound from behind him saw the Monarch turn, Matteo readily striding into that bedroom with Giles and Charles following after. Giles and Matteo, he had been told, had become ready friends in those past few days. Dorian rather pleased with such news. In all his life he was near assured he had never seen Matteo dressed so finely. The Frenchman's suit a near soft pale grey that seemed near silver and perhaps even faintly blue all at once. That darker grey tie was as immaculately put together as the rest of his outfit- one so different to his normally casual attire.

"Matteo, you looks positively splendid! Hello Giles, Charles. You both look very fine too."

He greeted each man in turn, his head dipping simply as Matteo afforded the pair of men that grin once more. "Thank you. I do believe however that you do not yet look splendid. Come along. I'm fear I must steal your fiance for a little Sebastian. You may have him back at the church." Sebastian had so hardly been lying, those men, it seemed, not even about to let them have morning tea with one another! Yet, the Monarch could so hardly wipe that warm simper from his lips all the same. His simple delight in this very day surely clear for all to see as he moved to place that single, final kiss upon Sebastian's cheek.

"I suppose it is so I will see you in the church then."

He offered simply, his fingers at last unwinding from his lovers own. This the last few moments they were so destined to spend as mere fiances. The sudden sound of Matteo's voice drawing his gaze once more. "You two must be terribly eager to be married so you might finally enjoy one another fully- since you have obviously both waited until marriage for any such thing. As is the catholic way." Dorian's own features so abruptly seemed to pale at this very idea that Matteo so might believe they had never been with one another in that intimate sense. The Monarch momentarily struggling for words before Matteo's laughter suddenly rung through that room. "For heaven's sake Dorian, I am only teasing you. I have no delusions about your private life. You should have seen Sebastian's face, it was almost better than yours!"

"Matteo! I- don't you walk away! Matteo!"

That, it seemed, was enough to inspire the Monarch to so finally leave Sebastian's side, Dorian promptly content to chase after his father, the man pausing so briefly at that door to offer his lover that final grin before shutting that door behind him.
