Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

His bright blue eyes followed his companion as Henry nodded briefly, turning towards the stove in an effort to assist with dinner. For a moment, he simply watched his boyfriend as Henry pulled out those vegetables, entirely focused upon his task with such intensity that it was almost endearing. It was clear that something still lingered upon Henry's mind and yet...Sterling was trying not to pry too much into his. His gaze shifted towards the rack of lamb in front of him it only took a few moments longer before the herbs were rubbed into the meat, the boy moving with ease throughout the kitchen as he searched for a pan for the stove top. He let the oil roll around in the pan, effectively coating the bottom of it before it was placed on the stove to heat. He watched as Henry finished chopping those potatoes, only to coat them in the olive oil for roasting. It was almost habitual, the way he placed those spices before Henry, adjusting the flavors of those vegetables to match his own lamb. A small simper crossed his features at the way Henry had almost anticipated those herbs, reaching for them before adding them to his own concoction.

It was, truly, moments such as this that Sterling missed most. Although they had almost become distant memories, Henry missed the way the couple simply co-existed with one another. He missed the little things they did for one another, the little things they had come to expect from one another that only happened when a couple lived together. How far they had fallen. A sizzling sound drew Sterling's gaze away from Henry's efforts as he reached for his meat, placing it in that now hot pan to sizzle at the edges and render the fat. His own blue eyes remained altogether intent upon his dish, that distinct care going into that lovely piece of meat. He glanced up briefly at the sound of the refrigerator door, only for Henry to close the distance between them. His own gaze settled back on his meat as he flipped it to the other side, that playful grin on Henry's features hardly missed.

The warlock rolled his eyes ever so slightly before he shook his head. "Definitely not." He commented in a clearly teasing fashion. Sterling moved purposefully as he pulled the rack of lamb off of the stove, carefully placing it into a pan only to put it under the potatoes. "Ten minutes and it should be done....do you want to get the movie ready?" He inquired, moving towards the plates. "What did you want to drink?"
