What You'll Find Here

Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He didn't blame Yumi for letting her whole life change after that encounter with the coven. It only made sense and she was a survivor, after all. He just hated that she couldn't seem to get past it enough to live her immortal life to the fullest. He hated that she lived in fear. If there was any way he could take that away from her, he would. If it came down to wiping her memory of the whole thing, he would do it in a heartbeat, but not without her permission. Usually, he wouldn't hesitate, but not with her. She was a friend. He actually cared about her opinion. Plus Isolt would know and when she found out, she would probably hate him for it. So instead he was trying to let Yumi find her own way through the wake of it, but it didn't mean he wasn't allowed to help.

As they walked into the diner, she pointed out the elderly couple so he wasted no time in making his way to the booth right behind them. He slid into the seat and moved over so she could slide in next to him, grateful that at least she wasn't fearful to be close to him. When she closed her eyes, he waited as patiently as he could, gathering by the concentration lines in her face that maybe she was already working her mojo. He was curious of how it all worked, but he'd only gotten to see it once before and it always intrigued him. When she opened her eyes, he noticed the change immediately, his own expression neutral as he waited to see where they went from here. She turned to him, asking if he'd eaten yet and he smirked a little before shaking his head. "Not in a little while, but I don't think they have the right menu here."

He could tell by the new tone that she had been successful and he was rather curious to see how this would play out. She asked about coffee before pointing out that they had pancakes. His eyes twinkled. "That, they do. How about you order and I'll have what you're having?" Eating human food wasn't necessary, but maybe it would give her more sustenance or something if she tried. He had to take advantage of it while he could.
