Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Henry Tudor

you broke me first

The evening had started like many of his did as of late. He wandered. Sterling had nothing to do and really nowhere to go. Sure, he had a home on The Ark, an elaborate statement filled with all the essentials. He had everything he could ever need or want and yet, he didn't feel comfortable there. The massive yacht was far too much of a reminder of how he had fucked up. It made him uncomfortable and uneasy. He couldn't sleep most nights, so he spent much of the night pacing, wandering, yearning for something he didn't quite no how to describe.

And like most nights, he walked past the apartment he wished he still shared with Sterling. Often he would look up at the small window that peeked into the kitchen of what was once his home. Tonight, he wandered without knowing really where he was going. It wasn't until he passed Sterling's apartment that he realized just how much he was running on autopilot.

Shoving his hands back into his pockets, he altered his course with no clear destination in mind. It wasn't until he heard the commotion across the street that he looked up from the sidewalk. He didn't immediately recognize where he was, then again, he was always a little disoriented when he was wandering around aimlessly.

At first, Henry didn't know who was being chased, only that someone was being harassed by three hunters. Henry knew he had to help. He might be a fuck up in a lot of aspects of life, but he generally had a moral compass that pointed towards compassion and doing the right thing.

As they came closer, a sphere of magic sent the chased to the ground, his body landing with quite the thud. It sounded painful if he was being honest. Quickly, as he was running towards the commotion, he shifted into his panther form. Over the last few months, he had grown to perfect the change, able to move between man and beast without too much fuss. While he still had a little difficulty, at least now he could control himself enough to ensure that he didn't kill anyone.

As his paws pounded against the sidewalk, he let out a low growl, just enough to be heard. It was deep and threatening, reverberating against his larynx as he came closer.

Leaping over the person clutching something to his chest, Henry moved between the dark hunters and the victim. Teeth were bared, a growl coming from deep within. Giant paw lashed out towards the others, claws shredding fabric and flesh.

The lights in the area seemed to dim, Henry using his magic to darken the area. His eyes were well adjusted to seeing in the dark and he knew the attackers would have difficulty. Little did he know that the bright blue cat eyes and the ability to dim the lights on a whim could quite possibly give himself away. He didn't necessarily do this to be recognized.

Henry continued attacking with his claws (and careful not to make contact with his teeth because lord knows he was not ready to be sire) until eventually the men lost or admitted defeat and left. He was not unscathed, though. He had singed fur from balls of magic and several large cuts from the tips of arrows. But overall, he was safe. Only when he knew the coast was clear did he slowly return light to the alleyway and slowly turn to ensure the victim was relatively unharmed...
