Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

There was something decidedly pleasurable in even this small touch the Fae so allowed himself by way of teasing his companion as he so often did. He craved that physical closeness to the man, one he had been denied for what he is assured is an unacceptably long time and yet too there is a ready sense of delight he so takes from merely watching how his lover might so respond to even the most fleeting of touches. Oh how he would like to do so much more! The subtle shift of Sebastian's form in response to his momentarily lingering hand so easily reignites that simper upon his features once more before the man's words see one eye arch neatly upward. It was, Dorian is assured, a decidedly clever response that both intrigued his curiosity and yet gave desperately little away all at once- the Fae finding himself notably impressed with his companion's efforts to remain secretive all the same. His hand at last moves away, though that mischievous amusement still remains, a soft chortle rising easily within his throat at the vampire's admittance. Dorian allowing his shoulders to lift in the smoothest of shrugs as he lays back within his chair in a moment of satisfaction, silver gaze resting with affection upon his lover all the same.

"Oh, I know."

He responds softly. Dorian perhaps wholly aware of this side of his own nature, the man rarely seeing any need not to embrace it as he simply embraced so many other things for what they were. Immortality, he is assured, would be decidedly dull without some desire to press upon the boundaries of any and everything he can find to do so. At least- when it came to some activities. He allows his companion to finish his dinner all the same, assured the vampire might seek to enjoy such a meal without being further disturbed before at last moving to rise to his feet. His lips find Sebastian's cheek in near the same moment as the vampires hand finds his own, Dorian having become almost accustomed to such a gesture. It was a notably simple touch and while it hardly satisfied those far more demanding desires it certainly acted to sooth them into a ready contentment in the simple closeness it provided. He is all-too willing to allow himself to be led from the restaurant and back onto the street, the man making a point to note within his mind that he enjoyed restaurants and that he might perhaps coerce Samantha to accompany him to at least one at some point. The car, this time, provides the man with little hesitation though indeed he hardly finds he would be permitted it all the same- Sebastian seemingly content to pull him in behind him and once more into that almost darkened embrace the back seat provides.

The Fae King easily settles himself once more, the man having at last perhaps come to the conclusion that the inside of the car, in the least, presented truly little danger to his being. His thoughts however are hardly allowed to linger upon it long, Dorian finding himself abruptly and yet not unwillingly pulled across the seat and against his lover's chest. It is ridiculous, surely, how much he so enjoys something as simple as even this. It was almost as if he was made to fit so snugly against the other man and within his arms- a position Dorian finds truly satisfying. He allows his head to lean back against the man's chest. His gaze tilted upward only at the words that find his ear, that all-too familiar feeling of warmth seeming to blossom somewhere within his chest. There was something pleasing about being missed, to hear that admittance that he had not been forgotten even while the vampire was away and with this 'Maker' he had so spoken of. The very nature of that relationship was one Dorian finds himself reluctant to consider, such a topic better left for another night, the Fae far too content in his lovers arms to dare taint such a moment with talk neither wished to have.

"I like that you did. I should not like to be...forgettable."

His response is equally as soft and yet no less true in its admittance, the man leaning up ever so slightly to allow his lips to brush just below Sebastian's jaw, sliding daringly along the man's throat to offer it too- that soft, slow caress. Sebastian's efforts to be chaste are hardly taken up by the King himself, Dorian entirely content to continue to satisfy at least some of his own urges within this.

"I know, I know- I am relentless."

He chuckles softly against the neck of his companion before leaning away as the car pulls to stop, the ride perhaps fortunately short lest Dorian attempt to see what he may yet coax from his lover. His curiosity for this next location sees his own attentions shift to perhaps far less sensational thoughts. For several moments the silver of his gaze lingers with inquisitiveness upon the building they have arrived at. Sebastian's early assurance that the Aquarium included water having inclined Dorian to the belief it may well have been near a source of water in the very least- the King decidedly puzzled as he moves to, somewhat reluctantly all the same, detangle himself from his lover enough to exit the car.

"This is- not as I expected."

In truth, Dorian is hardly assured of what he had expected, his curiosity in this a decidedly intense sensation as he moves to follow the vampire into the lobby of the building. His own head nods a subtle greeting to the employee whom stood within, the man far too taken with discovering just what this 'Aquarium' was designed for to afford the man any true attention before proceeding further into the darkened lobby. His efforts in this however, are abruptly halted, Dorian paused as Sebastian moves to prevent him progressing any further. The surprise at the man's request to close his eyes is surely clear upon his features, Dorian finding he held enough trust within the vampire to comply all the same- allowing his gaze to flutter closed.

"Very well- my eyes are closed although truly I have no idea what you're doing."

There is no small measure of playfulness to the words, a distinct curiosity within them all the same as he finds his hand taken in Sebastian's own once more. Dorian shifts all the closer to the man's side if only for some fear he may very well walk into something, allowing himself to be led further into this decidedly mysterious building.

"Might I look yet?"
