South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The ironic thing about this entire encounter is that Henry isn't exactly human. Sure, he used to be, but now he's just as much a were as she is. What is also ironic is that Henry doesn't exactly believe himself to be a were. He doesn't understand that the bite he received from a panther was what had caused him to run a high fever and shift. Since he doesn't remember the shift, he's having a hard time believing the people that are trying to tell him that he is in fact a were. To Henry, they are crazy. Perhaps if he wasn't so pigheaded about the issue, maybe he would have been okay to acknowledge the common ground with the woman in front of him.

He pities her. He hates that she has only seen human cause death and destruction. He's ashamed that she hasn't been introduced to the nice human, the ones that can be trusted to help. Henry had always been one who wanted to help those in need. After all, that's how he had met and convinced Sterling to live with him when they had been back in New York. His desire to help people is what had caused him to chase after his neighbor's yappy dog which had led to him getting bitten by the panther. So much for trying to help.

He turns to leave her alone, since that seems to be what she wants, but he hear her start to hobble towards him. When she speaks, he sighs and stops. Turning to look at her with a curious expression, he asks, "I'll help you if you stop fighting me on it." He doesn't want to help her unless she really is willing to take his help.

He waits for an acknowledgement that she's going to work with him before he inches closer to her. "Now, I'm going to support you so we can get out of here faster. I promise I won't hurt you." He pulls her close to him and helps her to wrap her arm around his shoulder. He would be the crutch that she needed to lean on so they could get out of this mess quickly.

His apartment was just around the corner and he peeks inside the door to make sure no ones coming before easing them both inside. He helps her up the stairs and towards his door. Thankfully, everyone was either out or in their apartment. The last thing he needed was a bunch of his neighbors seeing him enter his apartment with a naked woman. He also hoped that Sterling wasn't home yet. He should be working.

The door to the apartment swings open and he helps her inside. He closes the door behind him and has her sit down on the sofa. "Wait for me here." He walks down the hallway and enters his bedroom. He grabs a long t-shirt before entering the bathroom and grabbing some rubbing alcohol, peroxide, washcloths, and his first aid kit.

When he re-enters the living room, he moves over to the girl before he eases off the jacket from her shoulders. "Raise your hands over your head." He waits before he helps her to put on the shirt. He was glad she was at least clothed this time. He wouldn't have to worry if Sterling came home to see a naked woman on their couch.

He went across the room to the toolbox and pulled out a pair of bolt cutters. He knelt before her, his eyes examining the wound. "This part is going to hurt, but I promise it will feel better when I'm done. Please don't kick me." He opens the bottle of rubbing alcohol and pours it along the bolt cutters. He sets it off to the side and opens the peroxide and pours it along the wound. It bubbles and fizzes and when it's done, he grabs the bolt cutters and snaps the ends off the arrow.

Standing, he enters the kitchen and grabs a wooden spoon and then returns to the living room. He hands it to her. "Bite on this...and hold still." He waits until she complies before he grabs the end of the arrow and pulls it from her leg. Luckily, it's just through the skin and underlying tissue and hasn't damaged anything that he can see. He grabs the washcloth and immediately holds pressure on the wound to make sure the bleeding is slowed. He cleans it again with the peroxide before wrapping it in gauze. "A doctor really needs to see this. But if you don't want to go, then at least keep it clean, dry, and don't use this leg until it heals fully." She would need stitches, but he had a feeling she might not want to go see a doctor.

Standing, he enters the kitchen and makes her a PB&J sandwich and grabs a bottle of water and the bottle of Tylenol. He hands her the sandwich, the water, and the Tylenol. "Eat that. You'll need your strength. Also, take two of those pills and swallow them with water...don't chew. It will help with the pain." He wasn't sure how much it would help, but at least she would have some pain medicine on board.
