South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Serafina could hardly help the way in which the girl rolled her eyes at her companion's insistence that hunting for her dead Alpha was, in any way, a good idea. "Well, it's better to have your squeaky toy and a ghost to pout around all day isn't it?" She declared, glancing back at the woman who followed in a moping fashion in her wake. Death was never something Serafina handled with much grace. That depression that so tugged her companion and the Ark into oblivion had never graced her soul. Then again, the girl was often surrounded by death and abandonment from a young age. Her parents died or abandoned her, her childhood friends all followed the same path from their difficult life on the streets, even her mentor now joined the ranks of the undead. Death was like an old friend to the girl, more so than any live ones. She hardly voiced any more on the topic, however, the woman quickly distracted as they arrived at their goal. That pond, though cold, had not yet frozen in the wake of that cold weather that had beset them the previous night and yet, Serafina was determined, for once, to have fun. Her fingers reached down to touch the water, reaching for her favored affinity as ice so spread rapidly across that surface, thickening over the lake to a point where she felt confident enough to step out onto that slick surface, her arms outstretched for balance as her shoes tried to find some kind of traction on that perfect sheet she'd created.

She turned to glance behind her at her companion, gesturing for Raven to join her. A warm simper crossed her features as she reached down to her own shoes, delicately attempting to balance on one foot as the girl crafted blades out of her own ice upon her sneakers, those edges entirely sharp as real steel and, just as unshatterable thanks to her own persistent willpower. The second one, however, was perhaps a bit more difficult to put together, the girl slipping on her first blade whilst trying to balance to create her second, her ice creation finishing just in time to ensure she remained upright. Raven's concerns were brushed off quite literally with a flick of her wrist, a small shrug on her shoulder. "I'm sure. It's finnneee. I made this thing nice and thick." She slammed one foot down on it as if trying to prove her point, that ice not only remaining solid but also once again solidifying to that smooth perfection in the wake of those makeshift blades. "Besides, if you manage to break your neck falling to the ground from where you stand. You kinda deserve to die..." She continued, entirely opinionated on this. "And if you do I'll just....I dunno, shove your soul back in your body and you can be a zombie. Problem solved!" Serafina could hardly help the way she stuck her tongue out at her worrying friend, entirely unwilling to allow Raven to ruin this with her despondency.

It was movement within her periphery vision that saw the girl turn her attention from her familiar, instead shifting to the nearby bank and, in turn, the unfamiliar woman that stood upon it. That clearly of her throat certainly saw Serafina's eyebrow raise ever so slightly and yet, the witch only served to regard her with a rather judgemental stare. That inquiry caused a snort to leave her lips as one hand came to rest upon her hip in a position that surely denoted a sort of sassiness that echoed even in her soprano voice. "What are you, the lake police?" She inquired, entirely unwilling to be told what she could or could not do - not by anyone. Least of all another witch. Of that simple fact, Serafina had no doubt, after all, she could almost instinctually feel the magic that surrounded the strange woman in front of her. "Do you want to join us or what?" She commented with a sigh on her lips, already prepared to reach out to this woman with her ice power. Sometimes, all it took was including someone to get them to shut up, it was a simple fact Serafina knew well.
