South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The full moon still makes me tremble when I think about all those other Weres and how they were acting. Sure, it wasn't exactly a blood bath or anything but in my opinion, it wasn't far from it. Everything was okay for the most part with Tobi and Raven playing and then Lucian jumped in while Tetra and Nadya watched but when Nadya decided to be possessive over me because of Tobi and then Tobi decided he wanted to chase another small Were that I had never met before...things got a little out of hand. I wasn't expecting myself to run to the smaller cat's aide but I couldn't stand by and watch him get bullied and pushed around. Tobi was going to chase him, for goodness sake! And who knows what he would have done to him if he caught him. I couldn't take that chance.

And yet I never thought about the consequences. I knew that Raven would always try to protect me. She promised me as much when she asked me if I wanted to stay with her. If there's anyone I believe, it's Raven. She's one of the few people I've met in Sacro that I feel I can actually trust. Of course, all trust takes time, especially when it comes to me, but it's easier when I can relate to Raven and what she's gone through. We don't even have to talk about it, we just look at each other and understand. She's become something like a close friend, maybe even pack, to me and I don't want to lose that. Nadya is nice and kind to me and I'd like her as a friend too but I don't like the possessive way her and Tobi act around me, like I'm a pet to be claimed, not a person just like them. It reminds me too much of my dad.

When I come back to the house, I find the note and fruit. I gobble down most of the fruit and smile as I read the note. Finally I get to get out of the house with Raven and enjoy myself. We haven't actually done a lot of that since the full moon. I think she was just as shaken as I was. Swallowing the rest of my orange, I grab some spare clothes and head out. Something tells me this is a good day to play as animals, not people. Once I'm outside, my senses kick in, my human nose twitching as I take off the rest of my clothes and set them aside to come back for later. Making sure no one else is around, which of course, there's not, I take off at a dead run, shifting mid stride as I crouch down to transition from two to four legs. My ears go forward and my tail swishes side to side as I sprint into the woods, following Raven's scent.

It doesn't take me long to track her to the creek. Peeking through the bushes, I smirk, my tail flicking as I watch her recline on the flat rock. Crouching low, I creep up behind her, sure that my power of stealth will keep my steps light and silent and being downwind will help. Once I'm close enough, I pounce, aiming to land squarely on her back with a playful growl. If I land on her, I'll merely use my paws to bounce right off of her, not aiming to bite or anything since I don't want to be that close if she retaliates in her shock of being pounced on. I know if she's anything like me, surprising her will only lead her to fight or flight instincts. Of course, she could know it's me cause of the note but she's just as untrusting as I am so she could think it's anyone and while I want to play, I don't want a chuck taken out of my hide either. Luckily, I'm smaller and agile so I can move quick. I'll pounce away and turn back to face her with a series of yips like a laugh, gleaming blue gold eyes inviting her to play as I bow down before her with my fluffy tail swaying.
