South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Had Sterling actually stopped to consider it, he might have too been aware of the peculiarity at dragging a stranger home. Much less the whole notion of 'stranger-danger', and yet, this was one aspect in which Sterling was entirely confident in. It wasn't particularly abnormal though, he supposed. After all, he did have some sort of natural enjoyment of helping others. It was why he bothered to pause every time the elderly lady two doors down struggled to bring groceries up the stairwell. Assisting the man he now knew as Henry just came naturally to him. After all - he had been in that position not terribly long ago himself. He tried to be the person to Henry that he wished he would have had, not that it terribly mattered much in the first place. His crystalline gaze shifted only at the sound of the man's lingering inquiry and briefly Sterling rose his hand to rub the back of his neck in a nearly guilty fashion, "Well, you're not going to find anywhere to eat in the city with two dollars and I spent the last of my money on groceries so...." His voice trailed off only to offer the smallest shrug. It had seemed like a great decision at the time, at the very least.

Still, despite the shabby interior, there was a part of Sterling that was pleased to be home, the autumn air was becoming crisp, night was falling sooner and sooner and frankly, a part of him still held some irrational apprehension of the darkness even if he had little notion of what monsters his imagination insisted lay beyond. Here though, he was able to ignore those lingering thoughts, at least for now. Instead, the man focused on the clear hint of astonishment upon the features of his companion. A soft chuckle left his lips and slowly Sterling nodded. "Yeah, it's uh...a new hobby I guess." He shrugged, the truth of it far more real then he had perhaps let on. Momentarily, Sterling cast his attention towards the inside of his fridge, fishing for ingredients only to emerge moments later with fresh herbs and vegetables, raw steaks and beers in tow. Food had unfortunately become the boy's weakness, finding himself unable to deny the cut of steak when he'd seen it so nicely priced at the butcher's store.

Never the less, he placed the alcoholic beverage in front of Henry, fully intending to let the man nurse his drink whilst Sterling set out to craft them something delectable. It was only several moments later when the steaks were noisily crackling within a pan that the boy glanced up, "Hey Henry, you know, I was thinking....you could always go down to the police station and explain your situation. They might be able to run your finger prints or something. They might have resources to track down where you live." It was worth the shot, at the very least, and that was what counted, right?
