South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

The fennec form of the girl was more than happy to perch herself on top of the rhino, quite content that one of his lumbering steps would be much faster than the ten of her own it would take to keep up. "I won't fall" The girl replied with a huff, clearly insulted that he would lessen the balance she was certainly capable of. The girl would hardly be harmed from falling. She'd jumped larger distances in her were form. In fact, she could remember a drunken night in which Beck had told her she wasn't brave enough to jump from the roof of his second story home in her Were form. She was, and while she'd ended up with a fractured wrist and the laughter of Beck, at least she'd proved him wrong. The fall from the rhino's back would be nothing, unless he stepped on her. Still, she made no effort to do anything besides lounge on his back.

She was equally as excited about seeing all the animals that he pointed out to her as he was excited to show her. She didn't tell him that she knew what the animals were, but instead she let out a soft purr every time he would tell her, her attention focused on him and the animals that he pointed out. She'd never seen animals like this, not really, never outside of pictures and books. Still, like him, it wasn't until they came across the lions did Edie's ears press back against her head and she became very still instead of the running around that she'd been doing to occupy herself. "Will they hurt us?" the woman asked him softly, feeling the way he tensed beneath her. Luckily, it seemed, they were more than willing to leave them be. Edie was sure Kato could protect her, but perhaps not from a whole pride of lions desperate for a bite of her fennec flesh.

The small girl spent the rest of the time on his back either running around in small circles or stretched out, basking in the sunlight. In her fox form, she didn't have to worry about her skin frying, and was able to actually enjoy the sunlight. She's just closed her eyes, it felt like, when he'd announced that they were finally there. She could hear the excitement in his tone, and for that she was grateful. She didn't need to be told twice to shift back into her human form. After all, it was only her love for the man that allowed her to feel comfortable in her fox skin, she had no desire to show that to a herd of rhinos. She slid off his body before he was even lowered, shifting almost as soon as she hit the ground. Her eyes were on him as he dressed, her eyes lusting after the curves of his skin. She almost wanted to pull him to her, distract herself from the nervousness she felt towards meeting his family. This was a huge step for them, one that the girl wasn't sure she was honestly ready for in the wake of admitting how she felt about him only hours before.

Still, she could feel how excited he was, and she pulled the black bra over her head, then slipping the pair of shorts on and the pair of flats to protect her feet. Lastly, she pulled that hat on over her head, smoothing out the waves of brown hair in an effort to make herself look presentable. With shaking hands and voice, she looked up at him. "Do I look okay?" She asked as he pulled her in, grabbing at his hand to steady herself as she was led towards the mud huts. She clung to his side, determined to not be separated for him. She was trying, so hard, not to be nervous about meeting them, but it was terrifying, and she knew nothing of what to expect.

She jumped at the sound of Kato's name, even more freaked out by the hoard of children that popped up out of nowhere. It was odd to hear his name on someone else's lips, and she instantly tensed as one of the children came bolting towards the man at her side. She winced slightly as he let go of her, awkwardly taking a step to the side to avoid being collided into by the child. Still, she couldn't deny the small smile that came to her lips as Kato lifted the toddler into the air, and the way the toddler giggled in delight at the presence of his uncle. The questions that were rapidly fired towards the man at her side, none of the children even remotely interested in the girl he'd brought with him. She smiled as he bicep curled the older child as if it was no effort whatsoever, the girl taking delight in the way her boyfriend seemed so happy to be around the children. She herself had never been comfortable around children, but it was hard not to appreciate him with them.

It was only when Kato turned to her to introduce the children did their eyes turn on Edie. She focused on the three children, trying to remember their names as she gently waved, biting her lip as she watched them seem to discover her for the first time. "Uh, hello," She said softly, moving to scoot back closer to Kato as though she could shield herself from their gaze. There was something unnerving about the way they looked at her, especially considering they turned to whisper in a language she didn't understand as they stared at her with their unblinking eyes. "Um, Kato?" She whispered, trying to figure out what they were saying, the girl shifting to step closer into Kato's side as though she could hide entirely from them.
