South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

It was such an odd thing for the young fennec fox to truly get time to herself anymore. Frost and Kato seemed to have an eternal battle for her attention. If one wasn't whisking her off somewhere, the other was. It was still so recent that Kato had taken her across the world to see the land where he grew up. And Frost had done nearly the same thing, though that trip to Vegas had been more about what they would gain than simply pleasure. And while, in some aspects, she should roll her eyes at the two men, she couldn't help but relish in the attention. Being the center of Kato's attention was to be expected, seeing as she was his girlfriend and he told her on a regular basis that he loved her. But the attention of her Alpha was certainly a thing that caused the girl to be remarkably amused.

But tonight was one of those rare days in which Kato was off doing god knows what and Frost had deemed to not pay attention to her - a thing that caused the girl to sulk immediately until she'd been cast out of the lounge room by his rather annoyed gaze. She knew better than to attempt to bother him while he was focused on reading, and yet she couldn't help but prod at him tonight. Still, once he'd chased her out of the lounge, there was no other reasonable course of action than to strip out of her clothes - right in the middle of the lounge room so that he could see her, of course - and waltz out of the door. Some running would do her good now. It had been since Africa that she'd gotten to run - really run - in her Were form.

She waited until she was far out of the pack house before she let the shift take her. There was something so gratifying about losing herself to her wild side. The instant her feet gave way to paws, the girl was running nearly as fast as she could deep into the forest. It was wonderful, isolating. It reminded her all too much of those many, many months that she spent living out in the woods before she met Frost and found her pack. She didn't miss living in the woods in a tent, but she did - very rarely - miss the time alone to roam around.

She was unaware of how much time she'd spent alone in the woods when the scent of another seemed to catch her off guard. No, it wasn't that it was unusual really. There were tons of Weres in the city that used these woods. But the scent was so familiar to her. A fox? Another one? It was that curiosity alone that had the girl sniffing out the other mammal, the predator in her stalking out the other fox. She continued to get closer, waiting until she heard that bark before she slowed. It was clear now that she laid eyes on the other being that it wasn't Claire, as she had previously expected, but a complete stranger.

Ears flattened back onto her head as she eyed the other creature. The curiosity in her wanted her to move in closer, but she couldn't help but remember that the animal was larger than her. Her particular species of fox happened to be considerably smaller than others, and she was attempting not to provoke a stranger. It was only when the other Were let out that hello did Edie tilt her head to the side. Had she been in her human form, an amused simper would have likely been on her features.

Hello there. The fox replied smoothly.
