West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

when i used to rule the world

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

How long had it been since the Macedonian King had so taken a lover to stand at his side. The world had changed at least twice over since he'd last found even a shred of what he now held for the inquisitive were-girl that stood in front of him. She was a myriad of mystery for the King, so shaped by those experiences with such a profoundness while desperately clutching to those morals she held. He could see the change in her, he could see her blossom from the timid terrified bud she once was to the strong woman she now flowered into. Still, he could not deny that protectiveness that still filled him at the sight of her in even the slightest hint of danger. Though she might not have been his by any means, a facet in which Alexander was entirely steadfast in working to remedy, he still found himself willing enough to so engage in even the slightest confrontation for her. Though whether or not that was a compliment, however, still remained to be seen. After all, Alexander was quite practically the God of War, so engaging in whatever conflict that he was presented in for the simple challenge of it. He was still, after all these years, entirely unbeaten when it came to such games.

A small simper so crossed the Dark Hunter's lips as he watched the girl, clearly contemplative on those thoughts that so preoccupied her mind in those moments. He could hardly deny he was entirely inquisitive of those idle fancies that she so seemed to linger upon and yet he hardly stepped forward to invade that sanctuary of privacy. Instead, Alexander remained where he was, a soft chuckle so crossing his lips as the girl quipped that she was willing enough to play the damsel in distress next time, just for his own benefit. The fact that she might be so looking forward to his saving was certainly an amusing aspect. "I suppose you're just going to have to get in more trouble then." He commented softly, that glimpse of amusement still ever present upon the man's features and yet, he was entirely jesting. Alexander hated the thought of Alexis in even the slightest hint of danger, truly, and really if it was up to him, he was fully capable of entirely hunting down that man that had fled the alleyway if even a drop of her blood had been spilled. Still, she was safe, for the time being, and that alone was enough to so cause that guard to drop to show a hint of the man that so rested beneath that hard, icy exterior.

It was, however, the mention of the next alley over, however, that momentarily distracted the man, a glimpse of guilt so crossing his features. He hardly felt regret for the harm he'd done to the were-creature. Rather, his remorse was only for that responsibility in which he'd so become distracted from, leaving the creature to so suffer in silence with some foolish hope of escape. He tried, at the least, to be benevolent in that death he so brought, he tried to minimize their suffering and so ease their soul's passage into the next realm. How long had it been since a pretty face could so distract him from that which he excelled at above all else? That alone was telling in itself. Still, he was oblivious of the fashion at which her own eyes so seemed to linger upon him as he shook his head, admitting that, perhaps the truth of his presence within the Western ward might somehow displease her. After all, despite the fashion in which she had changed, there was still a tender heart within the breast of that woman before him, one in which he doubted would enjoy that job he was eternally tasked with - the complete and utter massacre of her species.

It was that simple fact that so saw Alexander entirely taken back as the woman stepped forward quite suddenly, inquiring as to whether or not this evening was destined to come to an end far before, he suspected, either one of them so wanted it to. The Macedonian man shook his head ever so slightly, "I don't see why you couldn't be a distraction for a long while still." He responded, entirely willing to admit that he was more then happy to indulge her for as long as she was willing to so put up with his presence. Still, it was with the slight tilt of his head and the small twitch of his lips that Alexander admitted he'd lost his prey, at least temporarily. It was that mention of putting it out of it's misery, a fact that he surely should have seen to by now that so saw that dagger appear in his hand, the man entirely skilled with such a knife enough that so flipping it in his fingers came with ease. Still, he hardly expected that flick of her finger so drawing him closer, a glance of inquisitiveness momentarily crossing his features as he stepped closer towards her.

Her breath warm against his ear certainly had captured his attention, those playful lyrics only further coaxing the man enough that he could hardly help but to admit to himself that such a simple gesture was entirely...well, arousing to say the least. His gaze fell immediately upon her as she stepped back, biting her lip and slowly he leaned forward, "I'd be happy to." He muttered softly, letting his lips once again press against hers, his hand settling behind her neck just long enough to deeper that kiss into something decidedly more suggestive than that chaste one before. That moment, however was entirely fleeting however, before Alexander stepped away. It was but a taste of what could come, a tease of sorts. Still, gingerly he reached out towards the girl, letting his fingers entangle in hers as he led her towards the end of the current alleyway and towards the one beside her. Alexander dropped his fingertips at the entrance of the next alleyway. A small frown crossed the man's lips as he was presented with, on first appearances, an empty alleyway. In the middle of which there was a long smear of blood from one edge to the other. His prey had moved, and clearly hadn't left so, the question was, where was it?
