East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

LET THE DARKNESS TAKE YOU

When you look into an abyss, the abyss also looks into you.

Regan belonged to the night and it to her. They had become friends in the long years they had spent in one anothers embrace. For most of her young life darkness had been her only companion and into its blackness she had whispered her secrets and darkest desires. Oh yes. The night knew her all too well and when she slipped inside it trembled at her nearness. A feather soft touch of a lover caressing the cold leather of her killing garb. Time to hunt.

The early hours of twilight are lost as Regan makes her rounds. They have been unoccupied these last long months and it doesn't take long before her swords are happily drenched in blood. That's what happens when people refuse to leave her territory and that of the pack. News would travel of her return and soon none would dare traverse this space. A bit disappointing but it made the rounds more efficient and apparently efficiency was everything.

Rounds over, Regan makes a hasty decision that might just change her life. Not that she knew it at the time. She decided to go to the park and sit beneath her favourite tree. The tigress felt an innate urge to reclaim the shrubbery for her own and something deep inside told her it was threatened. Moving silently the small slip of a girl entered the park. Instantly the scent of blood coated her tongue and caressed her senses. Her amethyst eyes ignited from within and began to glow every so softly. Dimly she can see his hunched figure and the deadly silence that surrounded him. The park was utterly silent and that only happens when nature senses a predator.

Interesting.

Drifting closer, Regan gets her first good look at the muscled brute. The slight shadow of blood dripping across his flesh sees an urge rise within her to lean closer and lick the droplets from his heated skin.

Mmmm.

Regan knew the sight she presented. She was diminutive. A pretty face with glowing amethyst eyes. Scars all hidden but visible within her eyes and of course the figure hugging suit that left nothing to the imagination. Oh, and lets not forget the plethora of blades strapped across her body. What an interesting pair they made. She drifts closer and blinks at him slowly. Watching and waiting. Ever the predator. Curious and cautious.
