I should have known I wouldn't be alone for long. I smell another Were, my senses well aware of others of my species though I know nothing about Hunters or Witches or anything else in the supernatural area. I look up just in time, my eyes widening as I jump to the side in a mixture of fright and shock as the boy leaps down seemingly from out of nowhere, landing on some boxes nearby. He's very agile, my nose twitching automatically as my curiosity shows itself. I've always been too curious for my own gooda nd while a smarter fox might have run, I want to know what kind of Were he is and what his name is and how long he's been here.

Instead I get a not so pleasant surprise when suddenly he reaches out and grabs me by the scruff of my neck. This is supposed to be a soothing gesture, something a mother would do to her pups but there's nothing soothing about the rough grib on the back of my neck. I snarl instantly, lunging at him with claws and teeth but while I dangle in the air, I can't reach him. He gives me a chance finally when he suddenly pulls me to his chest, seemingly wanting to cuddle with me. Taking my chance, I squirm in his grasp and bite down on his meaty chest, trying to draw blood and warn him off. Doesn't he know another Were when he sees one? What does he think I am, a stuffed animal?

I try to wriggle out of his grasp, my lungs clear to breaking with how hard he's gripping me. Suddenly he moves to sling me under his arm as if it's as natural as carrying a piece of food. Speaking of food, he tries to tug the rest of the sausage free and I realize it just in time. He manages to snag a couple pieces off of the long train but I snap at his fingers, trying to bite off what I can of both sausage and finger. I snarl and growl, my fur bristling even from under his arm as he eats what he managed to get. I hold onto the rest, hellbent on not sharing anymore of my steal.

At his words, I snarl once more, my voice as clear as I can get it while shifted.

"And I think...you're thick in the...head."

I snarl and reach out to bite at his side, whatever piece of skin I can grasp in my teeth. Once more I wriggle, determined to get free. Finally after what feels like forever, I manage to use my back paws to push off of his arm and I wriggle out backwards, falling on my rear before I back up against the nearest wall, my hair fully bristled as I snarl and snap at the air toward him, trying to warn him off. Before he can move to grab me again, I shift back, a naked brunette standing where a fox just was. I straighten up, not modest at all about the fact that I'm naked. In my pack, we had the basic clothing but it was never an odd thing to see naked men and women walking around. We lived out in the wild so it's not like we believed in any laws that forbid us from being in our natural state. When you shift on the regular, it's normal not to have clothes readily available.

I narrow my eyes at him, feral blue gaze replacing the golden gaze of the fox. Crossing my arms, I tilt my head.

"Who do you think you are? You don't just kidnap people like that. I mean....who are you? Are you going to hurt me?"

My fear was temporarily forgotten in the indignation I felt over being handled so freely but now that I'm face to face with him, it all comes pouring back. Will he abuse me like my father did? A part of me wants to fight back. I didn't run away for my freedom from him for nothing. Why should I stand here and be scared of the first male I come across? I don't trust him one bit but I've got to try to keep my freedom. I didn't go through all that just to become a slave to someone else's whims once more.
