Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

It was certainly peculiar for the Englishman to hear of a life so long ago that was in such sharp contrast to his own experience with his deranged maker. Sebastian could scarcely imagine a life in which she had so clung to sanity enough to, at a rather modest age, achieve such great harmony with the world at large. A world in which bloodshed was minimal and life was filled with the willing. It seemed quite like a fairy tale - one he only wished he had once been apart of. Perhaps things would be different if he had been given a glimpse of that life. His crystalline gaze remained steadfast upon the female vampire in front of him, unable entirely to hide the disbelief that his maker had once organized such a proud coven. His lips pressed together ever so slightly as the story begun to turn, instead focusing upon this mysterious Ceara's own experience with the vampire-child. He could scarcely deny himself that pang of jealousy that knitted throughout his own being - this woman whom had no ties to Anna-Marie herself had been treated more as her child then even he was. She had been sheltered, taught, her hand held as she walked through this difficult transition of finding herself one of them whilst Sebastian had merely been left by the very same woman to die. In a way, his death and accompanying birth into the undead with a tarnish all the greatness that his Anna-Marie had once achieved. It was....displeasing.

He scarcely bothered to interrupt the silence that fell between them, his thoughts entirely settled on the new found knowledge he'd gained of the peculiar child. Sebastian hardly noticed the man at the bar or the way his companion's gaze slide towards them, entirely prepared to intervene. In fact, it wasn't until the sound of Ceara's voice once more that drew Sebastian from his notable self wallowing. His head shook ever so slightly at the young woman's inquiry, a small frown gracing his features, "No, I did not. I found her here." He replied simply, entirely unsure if he himself even wanted to admit the strange bond between the pair of vampires. None other of his kind to date knew the origins of his creation and when asked he'd always shrugged in the past and responded with a rather simple 'I don't know' when asked of his maker. Now that he knew of her in far more intimate detail, he was even less inclined to divulge those details - Ceara, perhaps was the only considerable exception....perhaps.

For a brief moment his crystalline gaze glanced up at the female across from him, his eyes entirely steadfast upon her before a small scowl crossed her features. He knew now that really, he'd never stood much of a chance against Anna Marie, even though she was by all appearances a child and he and his companions were grown men. The steel of their daggers had hardly even caused the hungry child to stop and whilst he laid dying in her arms, he'd watched as his own blood caused her flesh to mend as if they'd done nothing at all. "I wouldn't be so sure of that." Sebastian responded softly after a moment, entirely disliking the memory that resurfaced at the sheer mention of Anna-Marie's ability to create her own protege. His attention slowly turned back towards the elder vampire before he inquired, "Does she have any other children?" Somehow, this knowledge on weather or not he was alone in this world as a member of her lineage was important to him - though why, he couldn't say.
