Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Odd as it was to be standing there in the face of something so fierce Felicity felt somehow at eased, at least a little, as she watched the creature devour the chicken given to him with a speed she hadn't quite anticipated. Forcing back more wholly against the arm of the couch he approaches again, bowl in mouth, beckoning for more before dropping it before her. The metal falls and provides in her hands was so obviously ignored as another rise of concern fitted to her throat, only mildly written off as he falls to one side and rolls like, well, a dog. This she decided was not the norm and as such required more inquiry, the cock of her brow as he growled and formulated his distaste in her responses.
What else was a girl supposed to do in so little a moment? She had just gotten there and really hadn't the chance to think much on anything, let alone whether or not a leopard of all things would meander into her new home requiring a feeding.

Then there was that pop, a familiar pop though far louder than the natural pops she recognized.

The beauty that was his coat soon melted away revealing flesh, soft and supple though tightly woven over the architecture beneath it. A boy, just a boy she realized, hid himself within the shadows of a second self, the toss of his messy natural hair and the toothy grin turning her stomach and riling a whole different set of emotions as his jeans fashioned themselves, thankfully, to him. Not thinking much to it she takes hold of the chicken a little more firmly then, both hands grasping the ends with more intention, as if the grip was meant for something other than plastic and chicken parts. Her lips draw tight into a stern look, brows furrowing as he stands and reveals how much shorter she was than him; not that this mattered to her, she would almost always be shorter than anyone else in the room. He speaks then and at first she remains in that heated look, his demand forced upon her with a directive point at his bowl placing finality in his reaction, something she would not stand to feed into. Stepping forward that short distance between them she presses against that bubble of comfort that came with keeping your distance, head cocking to the left in a twitched reaction that tossed the weight of her tied back hair into life as it followed suit. She smiled but it was not a happy smile, more a sarcastic one that matched the upturn of her eyes as she stooped only to place the remaining chicken on the coffee table, to face him directly.

"Excuse me? You know, it's not every day I come into a town, move into my new home and get interrupted by some big cat. Bad manners, that's bad manners right there, if you really wanted me to feed you anymore should've stayed a cat."

Looking back over her things before turning back and looking to the kitchen she thinks to the utensils, really she wouldn't leave him to go hungry if he was hungry enough to demand a complete stranger to feed him, but just as well she wouldn't feed him raw chicken in this state. Dusting her hand against her thighs she points to the couch, turning back to him quite suddenly.

"If you'd like to start again I wouldn't mind feeding you, you sit down I'll go cook this up properly, no tricks required...but I expect a name first."

Her stare remains firm, searching his eyes, undeterred and intended then that if this interruption would continue she would at least make it worth the time she was giving.
