Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It had been a busy week, Crishlyn was handling some business for the coven, and it pulled her away from home longer than she expected. She felt terrible for leaving Anna alone so long with only Aidan as her possible company, she knew how much the vampire child disliked the male. She hoped that they didn't kill each other, because if Aidan did anything to hurt her companion she would make sure he regretted it.

A sigh passed her lips as she finally pulled up to the manor, her black car coming to a stop as she looked up at the place she called home. A small smile touched her lips, it was wonderful to be home, and she hoped that Anna wouldn't be too upset with her. Just in case, she made sure to get her a couple new dresses for herself as well as the doll she always played with. Once her car was locked she slowly made her way up the front stairs, her bright blue eyes scanning over everything briefly.

Slender fingers wrapped around the door knob and she pushed it open and stepped into the foyer. Brows furrowed at the scene that greeted her, many of her things had been destroyed and let on the floor. She felt the anger stir inside her as well as concern, so she quickly climbed the stairs to check on Anna. Crishlyn was about to pass her room before she caught Anna's scent coming from her bedroom, as well as the coppery smell of blood. Her eyes widened and she flung open her door and ran into her room, and it was then she saw the small body shifting in her sheets before sitting up.

The succubus moved towards her companion and quickly threw her sheets back. Hands grasped Anna's face gently as she saw the cut on her cheek before her eyes were drawn to the blood on her shoulder. A low growl sounded in her throat, she assumed that this was Aidan's work, but first she needed to make sure Anna was alright. She gently slid the nightgown off the small girl's shoulder, and a relieved sigh passed as she saw the wounds mostly healed. It was strange that they weren't completely healed though, and that only meant that Anna hadn't been feeding regularly. Once she was satisfied that the girl wasn't in any danger she set on the edge of her bed.

"I was handling some coven business, Little Dove. I didn't mean to be gone as long as I was, but I'm here now."

She reached towards Anna, her fingers slowly combing through her soft blonde hair before she pulled the girl into her arms. She hugged her tightly for a few silent moments, and kissed the top of her head before letting her go once again. The succubus knew that Anna didn't like being restrained for long, but she had to make sure the girl understood how sorry she was. Her icy blue eyes filled with concern as she studied that angelic face, and she knew what needed to be done to help the girl heal faster. Crishlyn pulled her sleeve up the slightest bit so her wrist was visible, and she moved it closer to Anna's lips.

"Come, you need to drink from me. I want you to heal, and you need your strength if we're going to hunt for a meal for you. Go on, drink."

The vampire never offered her own blood up to anyone, because she knew that there was something a little different about her blood. Something stronger, especially if she had fed off of blood as well as the chi that she so needed, and found herself continuously lacking since Anna had come into her life. It made her weak, but she was very good at hiding it. It just meant she had to feed off of Aidan soon; he always did fulfill her in that aspect at least. That was something for a different time; right now she was focused on making Anna better.
