Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Kato Buhari

With Edie comfortably in his arms once more, Kato nearly felt like it was like back home...where the information she had just dumped on him had never happened. She was soft and warm against him which soothed his irate disposition. Kato allowed his head to rest gently on top of hers, breathing in her scent that was wholly hers and he had long come to recognize from a mile away. It would forever stir within him the sense of protection, lust, and pride all in one. Every time Edie fidgeted he wouldn't even open his eyes but his arms would curl about her slightly tighter to offer her that reassuring pressure before easing back once more.

It wasn't until the turbulence on their descent that Kato fully awoke with a jarring motion that quickly sent Edie away from his embrace. The last thing he wanted to do was throw-up on her. His motion sickness was something he had always hated having. It wasn't like he grew up around any vehicles that moved in order to get used to that movement. Kato scrambled for the sick bag only to have Edie reach it first and push it into his hands. This weakness, this wasn't something he liked having in front of her, appearing weak in this sense even if she didn't seem to mind and immediately would set to attempt to soothe him every time. Kato felt the nausea well up and prepared himself for the inevitable...until Edie's hand rubbed his back and lips pressed to his shoulder and a different kind of warmth tingled through him. The odd sensation was accompanied by the sickness ebbing away leaving Kato's brows furrowed in confusion. He felt...fine. He wasn't exactly his spunky self but he didn't feel like he was going to bring up his breakfast anytime soon.

"What was that? Did you do that?" Kato glanced towards Edie as he set aside the bag that was no longer needed as the plane finally touched ground. "My sickness went away. I didn't think a healing power could do that." It hadn't been a wound of any sort so that wasn't in the realm of healing to his understanding. Kato's attention slid away from Edie to the window once more as the flight attendant welcomed them to Leeds and began to direct the passengers on what to do once they docked. "Do you have a connecting flight or go by land from here?" Oh please let it be by land. He'd take a car over another flight. Perhaps he would be able to convince her to trek it the old fashioned way in order to sight see and hotel hop along the way. How far was Leeds from her home anyhow? Kato found himself questioning a lot of things being in a country he now knew nothing about. Usually when he traveled before it was just him learning the lay of the land over a few months but this time he had his own personal tour guide.

Kato waited patiently for the plane to dock and the seatbelt light to go off before unbuckling himself and slipping into the aisle. "Shall we, Little Dove?" He smiled softly at her as he offered her his hand after slipping their carry-ons over his shoulder. "It's your turn to show me the beauty of your country this time."
