Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He was aware of her impending arrival well before her slender, feminine figure truly appeared. That pack bond so assuring him each time she drew closer, some part of the man relaxing ever so slightly at her presence, even he was hardly immune to the security that came from pack, even if but one of his members. That shrieking human woman earned decidedly little of his attention, Edie's own gaze drifting over her in a far more critical fashion before she turns upon him, her words seeking to remind him the woman was indeed human, his own violet gaze narrowing ever so slightly at the tone his beta presented him with this evening- Frost hardly inclined to pity, not tonight, what remained of that adrenaline still coursing thickly within his blood, afflicting the stallion with something of a...darkness of sorts, one so often kept at bay, one so often controlled as he controlled so much of himself and yet tonight he found himself struggling to return himself to that state of placidity, that emotional blankness he so often presented the world if only to prevent them from seeing this side of himself and entirely what he was capable of when his aggression was given any true chance to manifest and allow itself a target to fixate on. He was nothing but what they had made him to be and yet truly there was a part of the man that so loathed even this within himself, the affinity of sorts that so afflicted his will, that seemed to provide him no small amount of determination in any sense having worked against him this evening- at least on some level. Frost not inclined to stop unless forced to do so, the man struggling still to regain that composure, those words from his Beta met with little more then a snort of derision. Frost not entirely....himself in that moment.

"I didn't ask your opinion."

There was something decidedly cold to those lyrics, more so then usual, one eye flickering briefly towards the woman for whom he was normally so tolerable, his own gaze returned to the human woman before him, watching as her wounds began to heal, a grunt of sorts al he cared to offer as he moved to turn away- leaving Edie to bother with the human if she cared to waste her power upon her. That was hardly his concern, the man wincing ever so slightly as he did, that injured shoulder burning still, another command leaving his lips, aware of her displeasure in the business-like tone she was presented with and yet here and now his mind was occupied with other things, his thoughts hurried- the implications of his own actions pressing upon him still. The slightest sound of discomfort stirs from his lips as Edie moves to drape his arm over her, allowing him to use her as a crutch of sorts if only to better make their way home, Frost entirely content to make use of the woman now and allow her to take some of that weight from his injured limbs, his eyes rolling ever so slightly at those thoughts within her mind and yet he hardly corrected her upon them now. His own energy placed merely into returning to the comfort and security of his own home. Some sense of relief passing over him as they finally stepped inside, the man assured the Nightshade pack would not be all that far behind him once they made the discovery of their Alpha' sudden departure from this life. Though how he had managed to kill Tetradore remained to be seen all the same. Why the hell had the bastard burned?! God Nadya would kill him and yet still, was it anymore then what Tetradore had deserved for his stupidity? The panther the one whom had so brought powers into that battle, damn fool. Tetradore had issued that challenge, he had merely answered, that panther having done as so many before him and underestimated the stallion and his own strength.

He allows himself to be sat down, Frost leaning back against the nearest wall as he did, his exhausted form entirely content to take what little rest it might be offered before that admittance of his actions fell from his lips, one violet eye seeking Edie's own gaze beneath those bloodied locks of white hair. Why it mattered what the woman thought he hardly knew and yet as Beta she needed to know, she needed to be prepared for what those actions might bring upon them in turn, his own affinity already embracing her, curious of those thoughts that turned in her mind. That sense of...pride she seemed to feel stirring the faintest of simper to his own lips. She was nothing if not loyal, in that he could hardly fault her, her words stirring some response from him at last- shoulders shrugging slightly.

"He challenged, Edie. The challenge came from him- and he lost. He knew what gamble he was taking with his own life, he simply chose poorly. He is, he was, a decent enough fighter I suppose- he gave as good as he got. In the end, he simply wasn't strong enough and I have a tendency, sometimes, to get a little more intense then I should."

It was perhaps the first true admittance he had ever made in that ability he possessed to allow....violent intent to get the better of him on occasion, his words holding some hint of respect for his felled opponent all the same as Edie continued to fuss over his injured shoulder, her flickering thoughts still entirely clear to him though he paid them little heed until that notion of love for him seemed to stir within her. A sigh of sorts is forced from his lips, his hand shifting ever so slightly to rest but briefly upon her own in a truly rare gesture of affection from the normally apathetic man.

"I had no intention of dying today, Edie. I wouldn't leave you like that."

It is a decidedly honest admittance, those words quiet and yet uttered all the same before the man seems to dismiss such affection entirely. It is not within his nature, those gestures fleeting at best and yet offered to Edie all the same- content to display some return of that...emotion she held for him. The man allowing her to turn his head to the side and examine that acidic shoulder.

"The Nightshade pack will have felt the bond break, our...tussle was witnessed by his girlfriend, she will have told them by now I am sure. Yet we will worry of it later. They wont come tonight in the least. Besides, if I can fell their Alpha I have little concern for the rest of them, save perhaps the Leopard. His true power is unknown and if he manages to rally the pack to him we may have a problem. Raven is powerful in her own right, with the Leopard beside her it could prove more problematic still. I may have offended the Fae Monarchy of the city too. How unfortunate."

A soft sound of protest parts his lips at those fingers trailing over his wounds, the girl disappearing inside to return a moment later with that bottle of peroxide, Frost eyeing it warily before she poured it onto that open wound- that stinging sensation forcing a gasp from his lips at the shock of it.

"Fuck Edie."

It was necessary he supposed, the man leaning back once more, resigning himself to that fate, allowing the woman to work despite the displeasure it brought him, that touch of her magic finally seeming to begin to work and yet the man remained assured that shoulder wound would scar all the same. The damage to that far more than merely superficial and yet one more scar was simply that, one more scar to add to those he already carried. So be it. It is only once she is done, his own healing at least beginning to work once more that the man allows himself to be taken inside, shutting that front door behind him, collapsing into that chair he favoured so much. His strength already beginning to recover and yet for at least the night he remained entirely determined to simply rest. Edie's softly uttered words seeing his head incline towards her.

"I know. Yet you will find, I think, that I am decidedly hard to kill. I shall endeavour however not to worry you again. Thank you for lending me you're healing. My body shall do the rest."

It is almost, almost a smile of sorts that touches his lips, his heled wounds finally providing him some clarity of thought as he reclined in that chair once more, the man contemplating those words his Beta offered, a frown of sorts touching his features.

"Claire is capable, as is Scarlett. I have little concern for their welfare in this. As I said before the Leopard boy is the unknown factor in this, I presume the Nightshade pack falls to his command now. He is an idiot with about as much intelligence as a pencil but he would not be its Beta without a reason. I see little of his potential but they will be loyal to him, I am sure of it, his power combined with Ravens could be.....potent if used and I cannot read his mind as I can others. His thoughts are illogical. Nadya too is an unknown factor, she shared that Beta position, how this plays out may depend largely on her in turn. The next move, if any, is their own. For tonight at least though, we do nothing, nothing will happen tonight. Tomorrow we will speak of this more. What I need from you is simple vigilance. I will have you run through some basic combat with Claire and Scarlett too. If either leave the house I will have you them go together or have you escort them. None of the pack will travel alone until further notice."
